Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Unknown, likely yesGood with kids: Yes, dog-savvy kidsCrate trained: MostlyHouse Trained: Mostly Fred Weasley truly is the definition of a gentle giant. He is a sweet, laid back pup who thrives on human affection. He is a low to medium energy dog who enjoys a romp in the yard, followed by a nap or some time chewing on his bones and deer antlers. Fred would benefit from an owner who is familiar with his breed and is dedicated to continuing his training. He has a playful demeanor and loves to play with dogs of all ages and sizes. Fred is a bouncy boy who takes cues from other dogs well and would be a perfect candidate for doggy daycare. He has not yet met a cat, but with his calm disposition he would likely be fine. Fred loves children and would do best in a home with dog savvy children. At the end of the day, he loves to snuggle up on the floor to watch a movie with his family.Fred is a smart boy who loves to show off his “sit” command for a treat (or two). While he’d rather be hanging out with you on the couch and lets you know it, he is crated occasionally throughout the day and overnight. Fred loves being part of the family and would make a great work from home buddy. He is mostly house trained, and with time and patience he will master it quickly. He enjoys walking on a leash and looks to his humans for encouragement, especially when he hears loud noises. Fred would love a patient, loving family who will be able to show him the ropes of puppyhood. Is this big ole fluffball the one for you? Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website.
