Story
This handsome boy was picked up running at large and based on Facebook posts it was about his third or fourth offense, but no one claimed him. We are guessing that he was a failure at being a livestock guardian because he’s way too social. He’s always wanting to visit someone new. Charlie is a little over a year old and weighs 110 lbs. He was very thin when he first came to us but is now at his perfect weight. He is neutered, up to date on required vaccines, microchipped and heartworm tested negative. He’s house trained and he loves other dogs, but he is a big guy. He also will require a tall fence, and you will have to keep an eye on him because again he likes to visit new people. He’s affectionate and likes to lean on you. He is learning commands like sit and stay and he really tries to please! This is what his foster mom says about him " Charlie is amazing. He is housebroken, loves to be hugged, hasn’t chewed anything up, likes to play but is content just to chill. He walks beautifully on a leash and likes to say hi to everyone he meets. Charlie enjoys sitting and looking out the window, hanging around in the kitchen especially when I’m cooking and going for car rides. Although this breed is known for having a stubborn streak, Charlie seems to understand a few commands wait, it’s ok, no, come, let’s go and he will even sit for a treat. But his favorite is Good Boy Charlie❤️" This guy would be a great dog for an active loving family. He’s so sweet! Kerwyn is a small, fluffy bundle of affection who’s ready to fill his forever home with love and laughter. This sweet boy is a total cuddle bug — he wants to be right next to you! He has a gentle, patient personality and a goofy charm. Kerwyn is friendly, funny, affectionate, and good with other dogs. He hasn’t been tested with cats yet, however he is curious and cautious so he will easily make friends I’m sure. This smart boy is beginning house and crate training, learning about toys and friends. He will gladly sit in your lap for as long as you will let him! He is a puppy who thrives on human connection and routine. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who brings softness, silliness, and sweetness in equal measure, Kerwyn just might be your perfect match! Kerwyn is estimated to be 11 weeks old and 12 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Meet Ford! Ford is an adorable, playful, and funny boy. He loves playing with his toys inside - throwing them in the air and squeaking them around the living room. He's also a big fan of chasing balls outside and loves the fresh air. He puts a smile on our faces and would love to meet you! He walks well on a leash and would be best with a moderately active to active lifestyle. He's very smart and already knows how to sit, lie down, and go to the bathroom outside. He would thrive with obedience training and is eager to learn and please. He loves meeting dogs out and about, but would likely do best as an only dog in his house. Ford is estimated to be 6 months old and 59 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown.
