Guess who’s back for round TWO? It's Ambrosia! This big, fluffy Great Pyrenees girl originally came to FDHS at the beginning of September as a very skinny stray in rough shape. After receiving some much-needed TLC, she was ready to find her forever family, and we thought she had finally found her happily ever after. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t the right match, and Ambrosia is back with us looking for her second chance at forever.And to be truthful with you? We’re pretty happy to have her around a little longer, even if we wish she were already home. Ambrosia is a HUGE fan favorite here at FDHS! She’s been the star of a couple of adoption events and can usually be found lounging in our Director’s office, casually reminding everyone that she is, in fact, the goodest girl.Ambrosia is about as laid-back as they come. She’s calm, well-mannered, and perfectly content to quietly hang out beside her favorite humans while they go about their day. Sometimes she’ll snooze, sometimes she’ll supervise, but she’s never asking for much more than a little company. This fluffy lady is a bona fide couch potato and we respect her commitment to the lifestyle. She’s an angel on leash, keeps a clean space, and does well spending time in a fenced yard or on a tie-out. We were also told she did fine with cats, and she’s been very polite with the other dogs here at the shelter.She wants a peaceful home, a cozy place to nap, and people who adore her as much as we do.**Spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention.
