Story
Meet Lyla 🤍
Lyla is a sweet, gentle girl who can be a bit timid at first but warms up with time. She’s respectful on leash, neutral around other dogs, and does very well around them. She simply prefers calm, respectful dogs who don’t get up in her face. She’s not an “all over the place” dog and truly thrives in quiet, predictable environments.
New situations can still spook her, so a slower lifestyle outside of a busy city would be ideal. Lyla is currently on a weight-loss journey, making proper leash walks an important part of her routine. At home, she’s a total couch potato and happiest relaxing in a calm space.
She may be shy around new people at first but is very sweet once she feels safe. A quiet home where she has a safe space of her own and a patient, supportive human would be the perfect match.
Lyla is looking for peace, consistency, and someone ready to help her grow in confidence, at her own pace. 🤍

Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama, Pennsylvania and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
