Hi there, I am the adorable Oli and here's some information about me: Age: 3.5 yearsBreed: 1/2 Maremma/ Great Pyrenees, ¼ Poodle, ¼ Wheaten TerrierWeight: 83 lbsGender: Male I am an absolute cuddle monster. There is no where I would rather be than on the couch with the people I love, and I'm happy with any human who is open to the idea of a good snuggle! I'll gladly offer my belly in demand of rubs, and politely ask you to continue rubbing with a gentle paw if you get distracted by your phone and stop. I can be quite lazy around the house, and if it’s pouring rain I will be more than happy to stay inside and just hang out with you.  However I also enjoy adventures outside, swimming and hikes up to 10-15km, especially quiet trails. I am social and playful with dogs I know, but a bit more wary of strange dogs, especially when I'm walking on leash. When strangers come into the house for the first time, I am a bit uneasy, but I quickly become friends when I see them the second time. Due to my great pyrenees heritage, I have a strong natural guardian instinct. At heart, I am a bit more of a rural dog. The city life and constant flow of strangers becomes a bit stressful at times, so I am just looking for a bit of peace and living life at a slower pace. My current owner thinks that if I am properly introduced to other dogs, cats or farm animals, I would make a great companion for them. I would however not be great for small children. I am healthy and fully vaccinated. While I am currently on medication for stress, this could be weaned off if I'm in a quieter environment for some time. An adoption fee of $100 applies. Meet Jasper! This gentle giant is eagerly looking for a home to call his own. Despite spending most of his life on a chain, Jasper is well socialized with people, and friendly with everyone he meets. Due to his past, he is still working on fine-tuning his manners, but he knows his basic commands. Jasper can be both calm and energetic, especially in the morning when he is excited to go out on a walk. He does not quite know how to walk in a straight line on a leash yet, but he is a smart boy who will learn quickly. Once he gets his energy out for the morning, he saunters along and walks well. Due to his large size, he will need a home that can handle a large dog who has tendencies to jump. Jasper also has a prey drive and can become fixated on smaller animals. He will need an adopter who is physically capable of holding him back in instances where he begins to pull towards them, and would do best in a home without small animals. Jasper would also love a yard so he can play with his favourite toys - especially balls! This gorgeous boy is eagerly awaiting his second chance at life, and can't wait to show you how cuddly and affectionate big dogs can truly be.Do you think you could be Jasper's person?
