Story
Gracie Mae is a sweet 2.5-year-old girl who found herself at the shelter through no fault of her own. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn`t take long for her gentle and loving personality to shine through. Once she feels comfortable, she`s all about cuddles and being close to her favorite people. Gracie Mae has successfully lived with cats, dogs, and even rabbits, making her a wonderful candidate for a variety of households. She also does well with children and enjoys being part of the family fun. This smart girl already knows commands like sit and stay, and she can even show off fun tricks such as shake and high five! She enjoys car rides and loves going for walks. Like many young dogs, she can get excited by interesting sights and sounds, so she may pull on leash or bark at things that catch her attention. She also enjoys a good game of chase, so it`s important that she always stays safely on a leash or in a secure area when outside. From what we`ve learned, Gracie Mae does well when left home alone, is comfortable in a crate, and is housebroken. She will thrive with a consistent daily routine to help keep her successful in her new home. Gracie Mae does have a sensitive tummy and skin, so she needs to remain on a salmon-based dog food. When she stays on her special diet, she does great, but switching foods can lead to an upset stomach. One of Gracie Mae`s favorite things is snuggling up with her people. She loves gentle affection, especially along her back. Her head can be a little sensitive, so she prefers pets and scratches elsewhere. If you`re looking for a loyal, loving companion who is sweet, smart, and ready to find her forever family, Gracie Mae may be the perfect match for you! Graice is spayed, microchipped, and dewormed. She is also fully up-to-date on her flea and tick preventatives and all core vaccinations, including Bordetella, Canine Distemper, and Rabies.
