Story
It breaks our hearts to make this post, but we are looking to rehome our amazing Great Pyrenees, Koda. This has been an incredibly hard decision for our family, but we want what is best for him. Koda is a loving, loyal, and gentle dog who is amazing with kids and does great with dogs inside the home. He loves attention, being around his people, and would thrive in a home with a large fenced yard or space to run and explore. One challenge we have run into is that Koda will pee in the house when left alone, which has resulted in him needing to spend a lot of time kenneled while we are at work. We know this is not the life we want for him, and he deserves more freedom and attention than we are currently able to provide. While Koda does well with dogs in the home, he can be territorial toward other dogs while on walks, so he would do best with an experienced owner. While this decision has been difficult, we are dedicated to finding Koda a safe, stable, and loving forever home.

Story
Meet Peaches!Just like her name suggests, Peaches is absolute sweetness through and through. At 4 years young, this beautiful Anatolian Shepherd mix has mastered the art of the perfect cuddle and has a heart of absolute gold. Her previous guardian loved her dearly and noted that she is incredibly sweet, playful, full of energy, and absolutely loves to run! She`s also a fantastic companion for car rides and outdoor adventures like hiking. Peaches is a loyal, sensitive soul who is very friendly and outgoing with new people. Because of her breed`s natural tendency to be alert and communicative, she didn`t quite adjust to the close-quarters lifestyle of apartment living, especially when left alone for long work days. She is looking for a patient forever home, a single-family home rather than an apartment where her people are around a bit more often to keep her company and help her stick to a reassuring routine. While she uses a crate for management when you step out, she’s ultimately looking for a dedicated family who can help her build up her confidence and redirect her bright mind. If you have a home with a little extra space for a gentle, devoted shadow who will love you unconditionally, Peaches is waiting to meet you!Peaches is spayed, microchipped, and dewormed. She is also fully up to date on her flea and tick preventatives and all core vaccinations, including Bordetella, Canine Distemper, and Rabies. If you`re interested, feel free to reach out to us at 920-733-1717, adopt@foxvalleypets.org, or stop in during our open hours!
