Story
Name: Bear Age: 4 months Breed: pyrenees/ shep mix Gender: male Weight: 20+ Good with kids: yes Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unknown Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: new london Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Meet Bear! Bear is a 4-month-old Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix (and yes... those dangly double dewclaws are there!!). This handsome guy has the looks that stop people in their tracks. Brains and bronze? Well... he's definitely got the bronze part down. The jury's still out on the brains after he enthusiastically launched himself off the couch several times trying to earn a snack after his photo shoot. We can't promise he's graceful, but we can promise he'll keep you laughing. Bear absolutely loves playing with other dogs and has done wonderful with kids. He's always ready for his next adventure, wrestling match, or game of chase. At bedtime, Bear likes to serenade everyone with a little kennel concert. Thankfully, it's more of a short opening act than an all-night performance. If you're looking for a goofy, gorgeous, fun-loving puppy who will fill your home with laughter (and maybe a few dramatic snack-related tumbles), Bear is ready to steal your heart! Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.July 18, 2026, 12:59 pm

Story
Name: Big John Age: 2.5 Breed: Pyrenees Mix Gender: Male Weight: 80 Good with kids: Yes Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Yes Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Appleton  Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Welcoming The Man, The Myth, The Legend Big Bad John... Originally I thought he looked massive in his photos, earning the name, but hoping off the transport van, I realized hes more of a "Moderately Large" John The only part of the song that really fits is: "Nobody seemed to know where John called home. He just drifted into town and stayed all alone." We don't know where John came from before landing on the euthanasia list in Texas, but we do know he'll happily keep drifting if left unattended. He's a true patrol-and-wander kind of guy. He certainly isn't holding up to the tough guy legacy either. John is a very gental, shy, and cautious dog. He quietly follows his foster lady around,  takes in the new surroundings, and quickly snuggled into her bed. He's a sweetheart who's been great with dogs, cats, and horses. John will need a family willing to help him learn the routines of living in a home. He's still getting used to things like regular brushing and grooming. His grooming was neglected before rescue, and his nails were incredibly overgrown, so getting them back to a comfortable length is a process that will take time and patience. Despite all that, he's been a sweetheart with dogs, cats, horses, and everyone he's met so far.

Story
Meet Eli! 🐾At 3 years old and 90 pounds, Eli is a handsome Great Pyrenees mix with a heart as big as he is. This lovable boy is smart, funny, playful, and incredibly affectionate once he gets to know you. While he may be a little shy when meeting new people, give him some time and you'll quickly discover the giant goofball hiding underneath!Eli loves going on walks, exploring the world around him, and taking in all the sights and smells. He's also a proud collector of stuffed toys—his stuffed animals are his babies, and he takes that job very seriously! Whether he's carrying one around the house or showing it off to his favorite people, Eli's sweet and silly personality is impossible not to love.Eli's story hasn't always been easy. He was picked up as a stray and ended up in a shelter where he was scared and shutting down. In fact, it took nearly 30 minutes for us to earn enough trust for him to feel comfortable walking out of the shelter. Thankfully, Sandi Paws Rescue saw the wonderful dog behind those fearful eyes and gave him the second chance he deserved.Since then, Eli has blossomed into a happy, loving companion. He is now heartworm-free, neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and ready to find a family of his very own. He doesn't seem to mind cats, although he hasn't been off leash with them, and he would thrive with a patient family willing to let him settle in at his own pace.If you're looking for a loyal best friend, an adventure buddy, and a gentle giant who will keep you smiling with his goofy antics, Eli may be the perfect addition to your family! Fill out an application today at SandiPaws.org and ask for Eli!Thank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Please visit our site at https://www.sandipaws.org to fill out an application to adopt.
