EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE5PM MONDAY 09/08/25AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY THROUGH PACC Name: MousseAnimal ID: A869969Age: 2 yearsWeight: 88lbs.Web Link: 24petconnect.com/PimaAdoptablePets/Details/PIMA/A869969 About: Just like the delicious dessert he`s named after, our Mousse is a truly sweet guy. This dashing, robust, caramel-colored mixed breed is looking for a hero to give him his second chance at a forever home. Mousse has been through a lot in his young life and recently found himself back at the shelter, but we`re committed to helping him find his perfect fit.Mousse was originally found as a stray and was later adopted. Unfortunately, he was recently returned to the shelter. While we knew he had a history of resource guarding with other dogs, it was discovered in his adoptive home that he also struggles with resource guarding around children. Because of this, it is crucial that his new home has no children.Mousse also needs to be the only pet in the home. He has a history of resource guarding with other dogs, which led to a previous altercation and injury. It is essential that his new family fully understands this behavior and is prepared to take all necessary precautions to keep Mousse and any other household members safe.In his previous home, Mousse was described as a playful and affectionate dog who loved to be by his person`s side. His foster parent shared that Mousse has `so much love to give in the right home.` He`s a big boy with an even bigger heart; just waiting for a family to shower him with affection and provide the dedicated guidance he needs. He is energetic and will need a secure yard and monitoring to ensure he doesn`t attempt another escape.Mousse is a good dog who needs a savvy adopter who understands his unique needs. If you`re looking for a loyal, lifelong companion and believe your home is the perfect fit for Mousse to thrive, please come to PACC and ask to meet this magnificent boy. This is his last chance at finding his forever home, and he deserves a hero of his own.Available adoption Only through PACC.Interested parties:Must visit PACC before the 5:00PM Monday September 8, 2025 deadline to meet with a counselor who will review notes and introduce you to the dog to ensure that it’s a good fit. If you need to add some flavor to your life, we`ve got a quick and easy way to do that- meet Miso! Miso is a handsome young guy who first popped up at PACC all the way back in 2021. We don’t know all of the details of his journey between then and now, but he returned to the shelter as a stray in late 2024. Miso found himself at risk due to critical shelter overcrowding and was lucky enough to spend a couple of months in a foster home. Here’s what we learned:- He is housebroken and easily learned to use a doggy door- He slept the day away when left home alone- He is extremely cuddly and affectionate - He is calm and well- mannered- He is friendly with new people“Miso CLEARLY identifies as a 5lb teacup poodle. He wants nothing more than to crawl into your lap to be close to you. This doesn’t work out so well due to his size, but he works with the hand he was dealt and is content to get his paws and head in your lap. I can confirm he is redirectable if you don’t want his front half in your lap. He is a champion car passenger. He will stay in the backseat if that’s where you put him, but if you let him ride in the passenger seat, he will just lay there with his head in your lap.”Miso’s foster said that he was “one of the best dogs I’ve ever had in my home” and we’re hoping that when Miso leaves the shelter next, it will be forever this time! This big old lovebug also has lots of fans at the shelter- here’s what one of them had to say:“Miso is the biggest cuddle bug! He`d rather sit on your lap in a yard than to walk. His beautiful coat is fluffy and that makes petting fun. Miso is friendly and easy to leash.”Miso is a big, energetic boy so would love a family who will take him on all of their adventures. When meeting other dogs in playgroup Miso has been independent and more people- oriented than doggy social. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet Miso today!!

The Tango is a partner dance that originated in Argentina. Our Tango isn’t much of a dancer, but he’d love to be your partner and best friend! This friendly, happy young dog has been easy to handle and very sweet with every person he’s met since he arrived at the shelter- here’s what one volunteer said:“Tango is a handsome man with the best little spots on his snoot. He was super easy to leash up and walked over to a play yard politely. He did his business and enjoyed exploring and getting pets- he has VERY soft fur! He knows sit and takes treats very very gently. A happy boy who seems a little anxious in the shelter environment and deserves the chance to decompress in a home.”Tango has been playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet Tango today!!

Mett Zeus!About: Zeus is a friendly and affectionate 5-year-old dog who was surrendered to PACC on May 1st 2024 due to conflicts with another dog in his previous home.Zeus is a handsome, gentle boy who quickly gained a reputation for being sweet and affectionate with the people here at the shelter. One volunteer said: “Zeus is a cuddle bug! In a yard he just sits next to you with the biggest puppy eyes, begging for pets. He’s a good walker and attentive to the handler. In the kennel he can be jumpy/mouthy. Strong pull to exit. Once he`s away from the noise and stress, he`s the sweetest boy.”Zeus has a history of altercations with other dogs, both in his home and in the shelter. While he has been tolerant in playgroups, he has started altercation when sharing kennel space.Key Requirement:Single-Dog Home: Zeus is best suited for a home without other pets.

Story
Most 80s babies will tell you that the “Land Before Time” series was a childhood staple, leaving us crying each time we watched the movie and the main character, Littlefoot, loses his family. Little Foot would eventually make his way back to them, making a group of friends along the way, including trusty Petrie. Petrie is a gentle, kindhearted, flying dinosaur who gains courage and confidence from his friends. Unlike the Petrie from the movie, our Petrie needs no help in the confidence department! This friendly, goofy baby loves, loves, loves people! Volunteers love him too, with one sharing:“I love Petrie! This tall, gangly boy is really just a big baby. He`s friendly and eager to go outside, and in the play yard is SO affectionate. He spends most of his time leaning on me, soaking up all the pets he can get, and even giving kisses. Petrie is a sweet and curious boy who I think will bond quickly with his forever person.”Petrie would like to meet any potential furry roommates before heading home to ensure a good fit. In “The land Before Time”, the Great Valley is an idyllic, lush environment where the animals live in peace and safety. Our Petrie is dreaming of his very own picture perfect home, complete with a family who will love him furever and adore him for always. Come meet this sweet boy today!
