Story
Hello, my name is Waverly and I like to call myself the one-eyed beauty! I have unfortunately not had a permanent home in over a month. I am all better now and am looking for a house with a comfy couch to crash on. I like to sit really close…and sometimes on top of…. the closest human. My foster mom says I’m too big for that but I don’t think so at all. I definitely am more on the laid back side and love a good snooze. If you sit in my spot I might stare at you and maybe whine until you move. I like my spot a lot. I love all people and tend to get along with other dogs but slow intros are always important. I currently live with cats though can be a little annoying towards them sometimes. I am potty trained. I have a super loud bark, but I don’t use that tone of voice often at all. I am still learning how to not pull on a leash and am doing much better at it. I can’t see the best so sometimes I need a little help getting around in new places and am easily startled if people move too quickly near me as well. My foster mom says anyone would be so lucky to have me!I’m currently in a loving foster home offsite! Please contact my foster parent, Kirsten, at Shayeblue14@gmail.com to inquire about me or set up a visit! Please allow up to 24 hours for my foster parent to respond.Inquiries are answered in the order received, and the foster parent will let you know your place in line if there are other interested adopters. A meet-and-greet is required before adoption. Adopters should be available to meet within 48 hours of inquiring; otherwise, preference may be given to the next person in line who can meet sooner. For everyone’s safety, current pets are not able to meet the foster animal before adoption. After the meet-and-greet, you will have 24 hours to visit the HSPPR Adoptions Lobby (11:00am–4:30pm) to complete paperwork and finalize the adoption.

Story
Lugnut is a sweet, people-focused dog who loves treats, knows “sit” and “paw,” and takes food very gently. He enjoys attention from everyone he meets and leans in for pets, often choosing people over toys. Lugnut can be a little sensitive in new situations and since he came in as a stray, we don`t know his history. He would do well in a patient home that can continue positive reinforcement training and help him build confidence while enjoying his affectionate nature.

Story
I'm so excited to meet you!! Will you play fetch with me? I'm a very friendly girl and I love to meet new people! I like to spend a lot of time relaxing and cuddling, but I also love exploring new places and playing games. You won't find a more food motivated pup than me! I'd do just about anything for a treat!! I'd do best in a home as an only dog. General Socialization Notes: I love meeting new people! I am a very sensitive girl so I'd need a gentle touch. I love to cuddle!! I would do best as an only dog. I am very smart and very treat motivated. Does Rosie like other animals? I would prefer to be an only dog and spend time with my humans that way I get all the love! I am not sure about cats so a home without cats would be best. Does Rosie like children? I would love to be in a family with older children, 13 years and older. I'd love to play with them! No small children because I am a bit enthusiastic. Favorite Toys: I love frisbees, balls and Benebones! I am also a master at fetch. My special talent is catching treats in the air. I love that game! Ideal Home: I'd do best in a home where I have lots of space to run and play. I love my zoomies! I'd love a family that will give me lots of attention and training. I enjoy taking hikes and going on adventures. I'm a curious and loyal companion! I would prefer a home as an only dog to get all the love and attention from my humans.

Story
If you want lots of love, I'm your guy! I am a fluffy, happy, playful and friendly guy. I love to be chased, play fetch, and go on walks and hikes. I aim to please my humans and I will always be by your side while you are at home. I am a loyal, gentle, cuddly guy who really just wants to be the goodest boy for his human. I would do best as an only dog so I could get all the love and attention from my humans. General Socialization Notes: I knows all basic cues (sit, down, off, leave it, come, stay). If I had to pick one cue to work on it would be stay. I am potty trained and never had any accidents inside the house. I am also crate trained and trained to sleep on my dog bed at night. I don't mind you trimming my nails, a few treats might help though! I love all the pets and belly scratches I can get. I walk well on a front clip harness but could use a little bit of training for reactivity to other dogs on walks and leash manners, in general. Does Bernard like other animals? I'd do best as an only dog. I really want all the love and attention from my humans. Does Bernard like children? I have been fine with children. Favorite Toys: I am a super chewer so I do best with natural rubber toys. My favorite treats are Simple 1 ingredient Salmon skins from Trader Joes. Ideal Forever Home: My ideal forever home would be somewhere where I am the only dog with a big back yard to run around, play fetch and be loved by my humans. I'd really enjoy an active family so I can go on lots of walks and hikes.

Story
Do you want a friend to both play and snuggle with? I'm your girl! I am both energetic and cuddly. I am always excited to meet a new friend and thrilled to join you for an afternoon of napping. I am both social with humans and dogs. I enjoy children, but can forget my size so older children may be best! General Socialization Notes: I am super smart and I love to learn! I'd love to train with my new family. I get very excited when meeting new people and I don't always realize my size. Does Paisley like other animals? I am a friend of all dogs, but my energy and size can scare some. I have never met a cat so I'm not too sure how I'd do. Does Paisley like children? I have spent the past 3 years loving on 3 grandchildren. I love to chase anything that runs so I may be a lot for smaller children. I'd need adults that can monitor and supervise. Favorite Toys: My favorite toy is a tug rope or a stuffed animal, especially with a squeaker. Ideal Forever Home: I would love a family that can appreciate my energy and my snuggles. I don't need a lot of exercise, but I do love social time either to play, walk, or visit a local store. I am super smart and can't wait to train!
