Story
Meet Roxie – A Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold Roxie is a 6-year-old Neapolitan Mastiff weighing 85 pounds, and she’s as sweet and affectionate as they come! This big, beautiful girl is friendly with people and other dogs—she even does wonderfully with little dogs, showing off her gentle and patient side. Roxie has a playful streak and absolutely loves her soft toys, especially her favorite fish toy, which she carries around proudly. While she enjoys moments of play, she’s also a calm, easygoing companion who’s just as happy lounging near her people and soaking up attention. With her kind heart, loving spirit, and adorable toy obsession, Roxie is ready to bring both joy and comfort to her forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and gentle companion, Roxie is waiting to meet you. ---------- Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!

Story
I'm so excited to meet you!! Will you play fetch with me? I'm a very friendly girl and I love to meet new people! I like to spend a lot of time relaxing and cuddling, but I also love exploring new places and playing games. You won't find a more food motivated pup than me! I'd do just about anything for a treat!! I'd do best in a home as an only dog. General Socialization Notes: I love meeting new people! I am a very sensitive girl so I'd need a gentle touch. I love to cuddle!! I would do best as an only dog. I am very smart and very treat motivated. Does Rosie like other animals? I would prefer to be an only dog and spend time with my humans that way I get all the love! I am not sure about cats so a home without cats would be best. Does Rosie like children? I would love to be in a family with older children, 13 years and older. I'd love to play with them! No small children because I am a bit enthusiastic. Favorite Toys: I love frisbees, balls and Benebones! I am also a master at fetch. My special talent is catching treats in the air. I love that game! Ideal Home: I'd do best in a home where I have lots of space to run and play. I love my zoomies! I'd love a family that will give me lots of attention and training. I enjoy taking hikes and going on adventures. I'm a curious and loyal companion! I would prefer a home as an only dog to get all the love and attention from my humans.

Story
Meet Miss CHULA everyone ! Chula is a 2 1/2 year old Cane Corso Mastiff mix.  This gentle giant is as sweet as they come.  Chula loves cuddles , playing with her “siblings”, hogging all the toys and stealing all of the attention!  This big girl has the sweetest personality and loves playing with smaller dogs. Miss Chula is potty trained , listen great to basic commands and walks well on a leash but still figuring out how to NOT pull her humans around.  And yes , Chula definitely thinks she is a tiny lap dog. Story
5 year old Great Dane mix. Mother was Great Dane. Father may have been the milk man. The brothers have been together their entire lives. They have had two or three homes before coming to live with me the past two years. They are really good dogs. Loving, friendly, happy, obedient. Rocky is a good pillow, Max is not so much. Both enjoy cuddling on couch. They are great in the kennel all day. They can stay outside all day. They can stay loose inside all day, some household disruptions are expected. They will ring a bell on the door to go out (previous owner taught) or come to get you when they need to go out (my method). Sit, high-five, down, stay, come are all well known. Play dead (or "bang" as we play it) is not their favorite. They eat in separate bowls. Rocky always finishes first and does not go after Max's bowl.. Neither went after my old girl's bowl after they finished. You can take their food bowl while they are eating. I feed Taste of the Wild 1c 2x/day. 3-yr vax.
