Dottie English Mastiff came to us after being left at an Indiana municipal shelter.  This is a nice girl who is good with other dogs & with people. She likes to walk herself and grab the Leash in her mouth! She is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her approx. birth date is 07/04/22 and she currently weighs 96# full grown. She does need to put on 10-20# we think. She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She is heart worm and tick born illness negative. Her adoption donation is $400 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. Beau Boerboel came to us from a kill shelter in indiana where he ended up by no fault of his own. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet & happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 10/10/23 and he currently weighs 125#. Beau knows how to sit and shake and he takes treats gently. He is a beast on a leash and needs lots of work on those manners. This guy will not go out as a protection dog or into a home with small children. Breed experience with mastiffs will be a must and he does need to go to a class. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. Meet Nugget! 🐾Nugget is a 10-month-old Mastiff/Dane mix who is, quite simply, a BIG ball of puppy wrapped up in an even bigger body! ❤️This sweet boy was found as a stray, and despite whatever adventures life had him on before, Nugget has never met a person he didn't want to love. He is seriously, ridiculously sweet and has so much love to give. He’s goofy, affectionate, playful, and full of that lovable puppy energy that makes you laugh one minute and shake your head the next. 😂Now, we should talk about the other side of being a giant 10-month-old puppy: Nugget has basically no manners yet. 😂 He knows sit... when he feels like listening, which, let's be honest, is not always! He is still learning how to be a good canine citizen and will need someone willing to put the time and consistency into basic obedience and training.Because of his size and puppy exuberance, a home without small children is strongly recommended while he works on his manners. An adopter with experience handling and training large-breed dogs would be wonderful for him, especially someone who understands that big dogs are still babies when they're only 10 months old.Nugget isn't looking for perfection. He just needs someone who will give him structure, patience, consistency, love, and a stable place to land. This is one of the hardest posts I’ve had to make. D.O.G. is a purebred English Mastiff, approximately 140 lbs, and will be 6 this October. He’s up to date on vaccinations and overall very healthy. D.O.G. was originally my pop’s dog. I helped pick him out as a puppy, so he’s always held a special place in my heart. After my pops passed away, he naturally stayed with me and our family. We’ve done our best to give him a great life over the last two years, but the reality is that the life he needs and the life we live are very different. Our home is busy, loud, and full of kids running in every direction. D.O.G. has always been an old soul and would thrive in a quiet, laid-back home. An older couple or someone looking for a loyal companion would be ideal. This isn’t because he’s done anything wrong or isn’t loved. We love him enough to recognize that he deserves a home better suited to him. I’ll be very selective because the right home matters more than a quick one. ❤️
