Story
Beau Boerboel came to us from a kill shelter in indiana where he ended up by no fault of his own. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet & happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 10/10/23 and he currently weighs 125#. Beau knows how to sit and shake and he takes treats gently. He is a beast on a leash and needs lots of work on those manners. This guy will not go out as a protection dog or into a home with small children. Breed experience with mastiffs will be a must and he does need to go to a class. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is heart worm & tick illness negative. His adoption donation is $500 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with his forever home. ##2405990##

Story
Meet Mystery! 5 years old | Mastiff/APBT Mix | 81 lbs This absolute sweetheart has never met a stranger. In fact, when she sees someone she likes (which is pretty much everyone), her whole body starts wiggling so hard you’d think she’s doing the hula dance! Her tail never seems to stop, and she’s always ready to greet people with her signature full-body wiggles and silly smile. And if you spend any time with Mystery, you’ll quickly learn that she has plenty to say! This girl is very vocal and loves sharing her opinions, stories, and excitement with the people around her. Whether she’s greeting visitors, asking for attention, or simply joining the conversation, there’s truly never a dull moment with Mystery around! Mystery came to FCAC after being left behind when her previous owner could no longer care for her. Because of her size, the family she was staying with wasn’t able to keep her, so she’s now looking for a forever home of her own. Sweet, affectionate, and people-oriented Full-body wiggles included Friendly and social Very vocal and expressive Loves being with her people Mystery appreciates having her personal space respected. She can be a little selective about dogs that get right up in her face or crowd her, so we recommend proper introductions and believe she'd do best with a laid back, submissive dog or as the only dog in the home. She also met the office cat here at FCAC and did very well, simply sniffing and moving on! Since we don’t know her full history with cats, proper introductions and supervision are always recommended. We’re also still learning about how she does with children, so a meet-and-greet with all household members is encouraged. As Mystery settles in, we’ll continue updating her bio as we learn more about this lovable, talkative, wiggly girl.   Spayed, microchipped, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is normally $100, normally, but through 7/18/26 $0 for an approved adopter!   If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! Any other dogs in the home must come along and some dogs may require all family members to come as well! If it's a match, you can your new dog home the same day. We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!    See all of our adoptable pets here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/adoptable-dogs-and-cats   Adoption Hours Monday & Saturday 11am-4pm Tuesday & Friday 11am-5pm Wednesday 11am-6pm Thursday & Sunday CLOSED ##2745573##

Story
Hi, I'm Stoney! 2 years old | APBT/Mastiff mix | 65 lbsI have one blue eye, one brown eye, and a whole lot of personality packed into one handsome package! I'm the kind of guy who's just as happy carrying around a squeaky toy as I am lounging on the couch next to my favorite people. My previous family described me as outgoing, curious, protective, and loyal, and I'd have to agree. I enjoy spending time with my humans, soaking up attention, and being part of whatever's going on. Some of my favorite things include: Squeaky toys Rope toys Hanging out with my people Playing outside A comfy spot to nap afterward I'm potty trained, affectionate, playful, and always up for spending time with the people I love. A few important things to know about me: I need a home without cats. Cats just aren't my thing.  I've lived with other dogs before, but I can be selective about my canine friends. I've reportedly done better with female dogs and haven't been a fan of male dogs in the past. I'm also not a fan of sharing my food with other dogs. I prefer my space, please! I've never lived with children before, so we can't say for certain how I'd do. However, we think I'd likely do best with older, respectful kids who understand dog boundaries and are introduced properly. I'm not a big fan of chaos, yelling, or lots of commotion. I'd much rather be part of a home where I can relax, feel secure, and enjoy life with my people. Like most young dogs, I could benefit from some continued training and guidance, but I've got a lot of potential and an even bigger heart. If you're looking for a loyal guy with striking eyes, a sweet personality, and plenty of love to give, I might just be your perfect match.   Neutered, Heartworm and Lyme negative, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.  Adoption fee is normally $100, normally, but through 7/18/26 $0 for an approved adopter!   Interested in meeting and possibly adopting? Please start by submitting an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once we receive your application, a staff member will review it during open hours. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! If you have other dogs at home, they must attend the meet & greet as well. If it's a good fit, you can take your new best friend home the same day!    We also offer a 2-week foster-to-adopt trial period to ensure it's the right match for everyone! HOURS Mon/Sat: 11am - 4pm | Tue/Fri: 11am - 5pm | Wed: 11am - 6pm | Thurs/Sun: Closed ##2768754##
