Story
Meet Rock! 🍂🐾 **Big dog lovers, get ready to fall in love!** Rock is one seriously handsome big guy with a sweet personality to match his size. Rock is a gentle giant who absolutely loves being around people. Attention is one of his favorite things, and he’s happiest when he has someone nearby to keep him company. He also gets along well with other dogs and enjoys making canine friends. Rock has a nice mix of energy and relaxation. He’s happy to get out and have some fun, but he’s equally happy to stretch out, lounge around, and enjoy the cozy life. He even went on a recent field trip and did great in the car! He settled right in on the floor between the seats, resting his head on the console and enjoying the ride. And if treats are involved? Even better! Rock recently had surgery to correct entropion in both eyes and is on his way to feeling his best. This fall, Rock is dreaming of crisp walks, crunchy leaves, plenty of snacks, and a cozy spot to lounge with his favorite people. If you have room in your home (and on your couch!) for one very handsome gentle giant, come meet Rock and see if he’s the missing piece to your family. 🍁

Story
Welcome Pocket to CCPAL Rescue. Pocket is a 4.5 month old Mastiff/Great Pyrenees. Pocket is extremely affectionate and stunningly beautiful. This whole litter is soft, cuddly and affectionate. Pocket would be great with a family with children. This dog has guardian breed, and would be a great family dog. She would be wonderful for a family with a dad that travels and wants to see his family has a dog that will watch out for them. Yeti went to a family with younger children and he is doing great. This is Pocket’s brother. We prefer children to be 8 or older. She should be 60 pounds full grown. She likes water, decent on a leash and area trained. She will go on a potty pad. She is good with other dogs bigger than herself. Her dad is a Dogo and mom is a Great Pyrenees. She is energetic but can calm down and be extremely cuddly and affectionate. She has a soft coat and not a huge shedding dog. She has shorter hair a little more like the DOGO dad. This breed is a guardian breed family even though she shows no signs of guarding anything at the moment. She is getting his vaccinations and will be ready for her forever home soon. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont and all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. This is a very desirable breed. Please be patient when you put in your application. We are being very careful in vetting people and we are a small group of volunteers. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Hello there, I'm Mark! I may be young, but I've got a heart full of love to give. Every morning, I wake up excited for the day ahead. I love playing with my favorite chew toy, but what I really crave is a good game of fetch with a human friend. I'm a quick learner, too! I've already mastered 'sit' and 'stay', and I'm eager to learn more. I promise to be your loyal companion, always ready for an adventure or a cozy nap on the couch. I'm not just looking for a home, I'm looking for a family. Adopt me and let's create a lifetime of wonderful memories together.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Clifford the big black dog is a beautiful massive dog! He is BIG and his personality is just as BIG! This guy has been a joy, he is a happy playful guy. He doesnt realize he's such a big guy and loves to sit in your lap. He is well mannered and behaves very well. He does meet the standard for the mastiff breeds. He is protective of his family and home. He knows basic commands and he absolutely LOVES to play. He will chase a ball, play tug of war, and he even plays hide and seek. We have only introduced him to one other dogs so far, a smaller pit bull female. We took things slow and they did fine together. He wasn't overly playful with her, they really just co-exist. He is fully vetted. He is neutered, chipped, heartworm negative and on prevention and also UTD on vaccines. We would like to find him a home with giant dog breed experience. These dogs arent for everyone but they are fantastic for the right people. He is currently in a foster home in Shreveport, LA but we do adopt out of state.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 12, 2026, 2:21 pm
