Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Bruno is an 80-pound, 2ish-year-old mastiff with the soul of a giant puppy and the enthusiasm of a wrecking ball (but, like, a wildly sweet wrecking ball made of candy). He’s currently in foster care in New England with another dog and attends daycare regularly. He's is social with most dogs and wonderful with people. Bruno is a goofy, active player - wrestling, zooming and sniffing are his love languages - and he’d likely shine in nosework. He enjoys moderate walks and is working on his leash manners - but playing and snuggling are really his things. He’s a full-contact snuggler (read: body pillow who snores). Bruno needs a home that will embrace his joyful 'ready to rumble' energy, play with him often and then happily share the couch (and probably the blankets).   Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. If you would like to find out more please email or call Diane at...diane@ulpr.org or 870-577-3744.   Please email us at  diane@ulpr.org  and request an application.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 30, 2026, 9:21 pm

Story
Meet Lady Rose— the Queen of Cuddles and Couch Time! 👑 If you’re looking for the world’s sweetest, most smooshable, big-headed lovebug… you’ve found her! Lady is a 3-year-old mastiff mix with the softest soul and the cutest little white “shoes” you’ve ever seen. She’s equal parts gentle couch potato and goofy best friend — basically a perfect mix of chill and charm. Lady LOVES her people and will happily lean right into you for snuggles, belly rubs, or just to remind you that she’s there. She’s the kind of dog who rolls over for pets, politely asks for more, and then melts into your lap (yes, she’s convinced she’s lap-sized). She has perfected the art of leaning her whole body into you just to make sure you know she loves you. She’s not pushy about it either — she’ll politely ask for affection, and when you stop, she gives you the saddest “but why did you stop petting me?” look until your heart melts and you start again. She loves to roll over for belly rubs, and if she could, she’d spend all day like that. Watch Lady Rose in action in her video! https://youtu.be/CrIBB0RQicA?si=iQAFu6ekTYtBx0sT This big girl is a total dream on leash — she walks right beside you like she’s done it a million times before, checking in often with a little look that says, “Am I doing good?” (Spoiler: she’s always doing good.) She’s super easy to handle and loves meeting new people. In fact, she’s never met a stranger — she walks right up to everyone she meets, wiggles, leans in for pets, and wins hearts instantly. Lady is also amazing with kiddos — she knows to be extra gentle, doesn’t jump, and melts when little hands reach for her. She’s the kind of dog that makes people say, “Wow, she’s such a good girl,” about ten times in a row. When it comes to other dogs, Lady has what we call “queen energy.” She’s calm, polite, and a little bit aloof — she doesn’t need to be the center of the dog party, but she’ll happily hang out in the same space as long as everyone’s being respectful. She’s met a few dogs in playgroups and usually prefers to wander around and mind her business (unless someone gets a little too bouncy in her face — then she’ll give them a tiny “hey, personal space please” and go back to her stroll). She’d do best with another laid-back, mellow dog who won’t pester her for playtime — or she’d be perfectly happy being the only royalty in the house! And let’s talk about kitties — Lady met one and was a total lady about it! She was curious but cautious, gave a sniff or two, and then politely backed off when the kitty didn’t seem interested. She’s got great manners and would do just fine sharing her castle with a feline friend who appreciates her calm energy. At home, Lady is pure cozy vibes. She’s low-energy and would rather nap next to you than run around. She’s the ultimate couch potato. She’s all about comfort, love, and being close to her people. Lady would do amazing in a home or apartment with someone who wants a snuggle buddy, walking companion, and best friend all rolled into one big, sweet, smooshy face. She’s affectionate, gentle, and ready to fill your life with calm, goofy joy. So if you’ve been dreaming of a big-headed, soft-hearted, nap-loving, people-adoring, kid-snuggling, dog-tolerating, cat-respecting queen to rule your heart, Lady Rose is your gal!! Story
Welcome Pocket to CCPAL Rescue. Pocket is a 4.5 month old Mastiff/Great Pyrenees. Pocket is extremely affectionate and stunningly beautiful. This whole litter is soft, cuddly and affectionate. Pocket would be great with a family with children. This dog has guardian breed, and would be a great family dog. She would be wonderful for a family with a dad that travels and wants to see his family has a dog that will watch out for them. Yeti went to a family with younger children and he is doing great. This is Pocket’s brother. We prefer children to be 8 or older. She should be 60 pounds full grown. She likes water, decent on a leash and area trained. She will go on a potty pad. She is good with other dogs bigger than herself. Her dad is a Dogo and mom is a Great Pyrenees. She is energetic but can calm down and be extremely cuddly and affectionate. She has a soft coat and not a huge shedding dog. She has shorter hair a little more like the DOGO dad. This breed is a guardian breed family even though she shows no signs of guarding anything at the moment. She is getting his vaccinations and will be ready for her forever home soon. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont and all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. This is a very desirable breed. Please be patient when you put in your application. We are being very careful in vetting people and we are a small group of volunteers. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
