Meet Roxy! This good girl came up from Texas and is looking for her forever home. She is such a sweet potato who would prefer to lounge around over running a 5k every time she is given the choice. Roxy is a thick girl and the vet thinks she could lose 10-15 pounds   She is good on leash, has loved every person she has met and is ready to be the best snuggler you've ever had the chance of snuggling. Story
Meet Clover – Your Lucky Charm! Clover is an 8-month-old, big-hearted boy who’s as sweet as they come! Found as a stray, this gentle giant is looking for a forever family to give him the love and guidance he deserves. He’s affectionate, kind, and eager to please, but as a growing pup, he’ll need an experienced owner who understands large breeds. To help Clover be the best boy he can be, his adopters must have large dog experience and provide proof of enrollment in obedience classes at the time of adoption. Because of his size and energy, a home with children 10 and older is preferred. If you’re ready to bring home a lovable, oversized cuddle bug, come meet Clover—he might just be your four-legged lucky charm!

Story
We adopted Romeo 7 years ago from Bradenton Florida Humane Society. he was 1 year old. A that time we lived on an acre of land. Romeo is lovable to his owners. He likes to be with the pack. He is house and crate trained. Romeo has gone to training school on two occasions. However he still gets on the sofa when we are not around. He will follow some commands like sit, stay, come here, paw, etc. he does get a little anxious when we part. About 3 years ago we noticed that Romeo was aggressive towards other dogs. .He also has an issue with his hips. He still walks and run about with no outward pain. We recently relocated to Connecticut. We moved into an apartment complex which was a tough adjustment for him. So, I moved him to my family in Massachusetts at a home with a small yard. Romeo is a big dog, and my family can no longer manage him. Romeo needs a home where he can get loving attention and a yard without other animals.

This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)   To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   PLEASE READ:     •    If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this.     •    All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date.     •    Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments.   Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well.   Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation.   For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application.   ##2345600##

Story
Well, he’s a very sweet and loving dog. My friend got arrested and left him with his mom but she didn’t want to take care of him so rather than putting him in a shelter she threw him onto me. Of course I don’t mind taking care of him he isn’t a bother at all but unfortunately where I live it doesn’t allow big dogs. He’s super over protective so once he grows a liking to you strangers will have a hard time coming near you🥺. He’s good with kids but he’s really big and when he gets excited he forgets his size and may knock someone over he is 130-140 lbs. Lastly he’s good with small dogs and cats although they aren’t fawned of him lol and big female dogs but he’s not good around bigger male dogs at all. He’s kind of spoiled since he’s always be an only child so he’s not used to being around a bunch of people or other big males without getting super protective. He OBSESSED WITH BALLS/STICKS so make sure you can play catch 😇. He’s a sweetheart, super goofy and loving 🥺❤️.
