Story
Hi, I’m Luke, and I’m a big, lovable boy tipping the scales at just over 100 lbs! Don’t let my size fool you—I’m a happy, easygoing pup who just wants to play, explore, and cuddle. I’m all about the good things in life: squeaky toys, water play, long walks, and best of all—snuggle time on the couch. I’m a pro at giving hugs (though I’m working on not jumping up too hard to give them—oops!). I get along great with other dogs and kids, but because of my size and enthusiasm, I’d do best with older children who won’t get accidentally knocked over during playtime. I’m crate trained, housebroken, and walk nicely on a leash—unless there’s a squirrel… then it’s game on! I do have a slight prey drive, so a little guidance goes a long way. If you’re looking for a big-hearted, playful companion to fill your home with love (and maybe take up some space on your couch), I’m your guy. Let’s make forever happen! 🐾 Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Finn may look like a rockstar with his striking Mastiff–Shepherd good looks, but at heart, he’s a big, soft lovebug. Weighing in at about 60 pounds, Finn has grown into a handsome boy with a beautiful gray and tan coat, soulful eyes, and an even bigger personality. Despite his star-quality appearance, Finn is more of a laid-back, easygoing guy—think Eeyore vibes, but with engines revved and ready to love. From the moment he wakes up, he’s prepared to shower his people with affection… and trust us, it’s A LOT of love! Finn does well with other dogs and does need a slow, proper introductions to new friends—both two-legged and four-legged. Once he knows you, he loves you deeply. He’s happiest when he has a buddy (human or canine) to share his world with. Affection is Finn’s specialty. When someone comes to greet him, he lights up, runs over with enthusiasm, and hands out slobbery kisses and big hugs like they’re backstage passes. His joy is genuine, his heart is huge, and he’s always thrilled to see his people. If you’re looking for a big, lovable, slightly goofy rockstar who will adore you endlessly, Finn is ready to take center stage in your heart. Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

Story
If soft-hearted sweetness and childlike wonderfilled goodness is what you are looking for in a dog than it is a pleasure to introduce you to Odie! This boy is 79lbs of gentle, tiger-striped, brindle goodness with a side of accidental ladies man. There wasn’t a woman who has met this boy that hasn’t become immediately smitten with him and it is easy to understand why. Want to watch this soft-hearted giant in action? Head to YouTube and search “Odie | Gentle Giant, Soft Heart” and then come right back to read more! Odie is estimated to be around 1–2 years old and weighs a perfect 79 lbs. We suspect he may be a Mastiff/Hound mix, but as always, rescue rules apply and breed and birthday are our best guess. What isn’t a guess is that he is a LOVE. The kind that starts quiet and grows deep. When we first met Odie, he was in a new place and he was a bit shy. Not reactive. Not dramatic. Just taking it slow. He needed a little warming up before he felt comfortable. But once he did? Completely different dog. He was happily greeting every new person who approached, soaking up affection, and laying his full weight across us for hugs and kisses. Odie doesn’t do half-hearted bonding. He commits 1000%! With other dogs, he’s thoughtful and very much in his own lane. On leash, his greetings are quiet and polite. Odie is fostered in a loving home with a wide variety of other dogs and he is wonderful with them all! From small pups to dogs bigger than him. This combination of experiences has helped create a dog that is both calm and confident, can go from gently playing with a small dog or puppy to bouncing around the big dogs followed by lounging in the shade or rolling in a cool spot of dirt. He doesn’t need constant action either, he is perfectly content to wander around and exist peacefully on his own, it’s very classic mastiff energy even if we cannot guarantee breed. He was especially happy to meet Pinecone, an itty-bitty Chihuahua and seemed to genuinely enjoy her presence, so we wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up being the Arnold Schwarzenegger to a small-dog Danny DeVito. With our house cat, he showed respectful avoidance. When the cat got too close, Odie simply created space. Later, when Biggie entered the room, Odie didn’t even get up from the couch. That’s promising coexist energy, though we are happy to set up a Kitty-Committee Sleepover to confirm. Now let’s talk about the one area where Odie needs a little coaching, leash skills. His approach on leash is very chill and a sense of urgency is not his vibe, it isnt stubbornness, but he will need patient guidance and some consistent training to learn the rhythm of walking on leash, including the occasional pull to pick-up the pace. Once that’s ironed out, he’s going to be an easy, low-energy companion. Overall, Odie is a quiet, lower-energy boy in a big body. He isn’t looking to run marathons. He’s looking for steady people, soft encouragement, and a couch sturdy enough for full-body leaning and long naps. Apartment living could absolutely work for him once his leash skills are polished. His size may be large, but his presence is gentle and calm If you have room in your home and heart for a sensitive giant who bonds deeply and loves fully, Odie B. Love Bug is ready to come home to you! Apply today and welcome home your new bestie and favorite weighted blanket. Questions? Story
Within 3 seconds of meeting or seeing Rosie Posey, you are required by law to comment on her rolls and jiggle. Rosie’s whole personality is “easygoing bestie.” She’s friendly, affectionate, and has that calm, happy-to-be-here energy that makes her feel like an instant family dog. Her favorite hobby is belly rubs. Her second favorite hobby is holding down the couch while reminding you that belly rubs exist. She happily rolls right over at the first sign of pets and soaks up attention like it’s sunshine. She’s estimated to be around 2.5 years old, and while rescue life means we can’t promise a breed… Rosie sure looks like a mastiff mix (and she wears it beautifully). Let’s just call her 74-lbs of mastiff-y bundle of rolls, squish, and wiggly-butt charm. Want to see Rosie Posey in action? Head to YouTube for “Rosie Posey | Belly Rubs & Speed-Limit Zoomies” and watch this lovable tank show off her gentle vibe. https://youtu.be/uVsJ7rOPnW0 With other dogs, Rosie is polite and social in a low-drama way.. She met new dog friends calmly, and while she’s more of a companionship girl than a full-time playmate, she did treat us to the cutest, speed-limit-abiding zoomies (heavy on the adorable, light on the chaos). She gravitated to the relaxed dogs over the high-energy, wrestling types but simply was friendly and respectful. Rosie was also introduced to Miller, almost 5 years old, when she stopped by for a visit and she did wonderfully! She was immediately all wiggles of love, rolling over and gently asking for pets like a pro. She’s got a big dog presence and can be a little enthusiastic with her affection, but she’s not out here launching herself onto people, more like schoooching in real close despite her size but she is very polite with her body. With Cats, Rosie did well meeting our house cat. She was respectfully curious and if possibly joining a home with a cat we will set her up for a sleepover with our Kitty Commitee to confirm that same good manners over an extended time in a home setting. If you’re looking for a sweet, squishy, affectionate girl who brings calm companionship and occasional speed-limit zoomies to the table, Rosie is ready to roll into your home, rolls and all.
