Courtesy Post... Piper is currently with her owner. She is a beautiful 3 year old girl who is looking for a warm home with not pets or small children. She is a big pup at around 80lbs who walks well on leash with the right collar. Piper has so much love to give. She loves curling up for a good movie. She is not high energy so doesn't need a ton of exercise but would love a yard to romp in. She is fully vetted and spayed. If you would like to meet Piper or want more info please call her owner: Jen @ 845-667-2988

Story
Female 4 months 24 pounds This little lady is nonstop fun and adventure. She loves splashing in the water and racing around full speed ahead. If there is something to climb, she is already on top of it. She plays great with other dogs and keeps everyone entertained with her happy energy. Even with all that playful spirit, her favorite thing is getting attention from her person. She is always ready to be right by your side for the next adventure or cuddle. This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pups with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event! The adoption fee is $600 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Santi! 3 yrs | 90 Ib Mastiff mix Saved from a NY shelter with high euthanasia rates, Santi was given a second chance-and now he's waiting for his person. He is cautious with new people and needs slow, respectful introductions. He'd adjust fastest with a single dedicated adopter, although he does learn to love multiple adults. An adult-only household would be best. He loves playful dogs, tasty snacks, and long naps on the couch. He is very affectionate and thinks he's a 5 lb lap dog, LOL! He enjoys going for walks and is always excited to go for a ride in the car. He doesn't need a busy life, just love, patience, structure, and someone willing to earn his trust. He spent over a month at Keep Them Wagging Training Facility in Norwalk, CT, where he learned valuable skills, and continued work with them would help facilitate a strong bond between Santi and his new family. Santi is currently staying in a foster home in Connecticut. Please reach out to his foster mom, Amanda, with any inquiries. (203) 243-0053. * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Meet Jack, a 7-8 month old, very good boy. His days are filled with playful antics and goofy moments that bring laughter to everyone around him. Jack loves to engage in games, especially if they involve a bit of friendly chasing or fetching. His funny expressions and joyful demeanor make every interaction memorable.
