Courtesy Post... Piper is currently with her owner. She is a beautiful 3 year old girl who is looking for a warm home with not pets or small children. She is a big pup at around 80lbs who walks well on leash with the right collar. Piper has so much love to give. She loves curling up for a good movie. She is not high energy so doesn't need a ton of exercise but would love a yard to romp in. She is fully vetted and spayed. If you would like to meet Piper or want more info please call her owner: Jen @ 845-667-2988

Story
This beautiful girl is named Mia! She is a Dogo Argentino who came to our shelter as an owner surrender when her owner no longer had time to properly care for her. When she first arrived Mia was timid, but within a matter of days she relaxed and showed us what a loving, playful, and goofy girl she truly is. Mia has no idea that she is too large to fit in your lap, in fact she's on a mission to prove the opposite. She loves to play with squeaky toys, cuddle up on a soft bed, or take a walk around the block, stopping to smell (literally) every single flower along the way. Most of all, she loves people. Anyone who is willing to give her attention will have a new friend for life. Come to meet her and you'll see for yourself! To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture. Story
To adopt please fill out an adoption Application  Be sure to watch his video!  Reggie is a 6yo male Mastiff/German Shepherd mix who was rescued as a stray in Memphis. Friendly and well-socialized. Reggie is fine with other dogs but he really shows little interest in other dogs as he prefers people (you can see this in the video). Not cat tested.  History with children unknown. Medium energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house.  Crate trained and housebroken. Obeys basic commands.  Loves to be with his people.  Good on a leash, rides great in the car.  When he first came to us, Reggie had heartworms, but he was treated without complications and cured and is now ready for adoption. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, neutered, weighs about 85 pounds.  AWESOME mastiff/shepherd mix will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!)  for an active family who loves the breed.   To adopt please fill out an adoption Application Contact us at reply@happydogrescue.org  visit us at http://www.happydogrescue.orgJuly 13, 2026, 5:02 pm

Story
Meet Jack, a 7-8 month old, very good boy. His days are filled with playful antics and goofy moments that bring laughter to everyone around him. Jack loves to engage in games, especially if they involve a bit of friendly chasing or fetching. His funny expressions and joyful demeanor make every interaction memorable. Jack is not just a pet; he's a bundle of joy waiting to spread happiness in a loving home. Adopting Jack means embracing endless fun and Jack is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
