Story
Meadow was with the original owner since she was a puppy. Domestic issues meant they had to give him up to the Humane Society in the fall of 2022. The dogs had been starved of attention for several months as well as had inconsistent feeding. They'd also been left alone for extended periods of time. Because of that, we recommend that she not be in a home with small children that may disturb her when eating or try to take things away from her. Despite his last few months at home, since she's been with the Humane Society, she's shown that she's smart, great with other dogs, is okay with cats (but will chase them), receives correction well, and keeps a clean crate. She is good on a leash and will go to the bathroom in a fenced in area or on a leash. She does fear things being taken away from her and will need an experienced adopter to avoid issues. She's a counter surfer and has mild separation anxiety (will jump fences to get to her person). She can be fearful until she gets to know you. Unless you're a man - that will take a little longer! Meadow is an incredible dog with a ton of potential with someone that is willing to work with her and get to know her well. She would make an incredible companion.

Story
Biltmore here! I am a 3-year-old, 58-pound Mastiff/German Shepherd mix. I was a neighborhood stray and, when no one tried to keep me safe, I wandered into the road and got hit by a car. I ended up in a shelter with a broken leg, and that's when I found my way to this rescue. Unfortunately, I had to have my leg amputated, but happily it doesn't slow me down any. Plus, now I'm off the streets and living with an amazing family who has committed to helping me find my way to my forever family! I'm pretty good at walking on a leash, and I'm house and crate trained. I'm friends with the other dogs in my foster home, and I love spending time with the kids. I'm a happy boy with a wagging tail who loves snuggles. Might as well say my last name is Campbell's because I am an MMM MMM GOOD boy. Let's keep each other warm on a cold night! All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Age: 3 years Adoption fee: $300

Story
Hi everyone! Our names are Maggie and Marcy  we're new pups with Rescued Ohio! At 6-8 weeks old, we're learning how to play, take naps, and go potty outside. We love playing in our fenced yard with our foster family's dog. Our foster parents have to keep a close eye on us though because we love exploring anywhere (and anything) we can get to! We sleep in a kennel together overnight and during the day when we're alone. Since we still aren't potty trained, a house with hard wood area or a gated area would be best.Right now we're about 12 pounds each, but that's sure to change because we absolutely love to eat! We love kibble and treats, and we're quickly learning that peanut butter is amaaaazing. Bath time is a little easier when you have peanut butter to snack on! Our foster parents guess that we'll be large-extra large dogs because our momma was a mastiff. And we've got the paws to prove it! We do great with kids and other dogs, but we haven't gotten the chance to play with our foster home's kitty. We're bundles of energy and need a family who is dedicated to training a puppy. We can sleep for 4-6 hours overnight but shouldn't be left alone during the daytime for more than 4 hours. We also love chewing - so be prepared to hide those shoelaces! After a long day of playing and puppy naps, we love to snuggle with our foster parents  they tell us puppy kisses are the best, and we love to give them! We'd love to find our fur-ever home with your family! ##2040218##
