Story
MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Meet Buddy, a 1-year-old, 65-pound Mastiff mix with the heart of a gentle giant and the wiggle of a happy puppy! This lovable boy is the full package — friendly, goofy, affectionate, and ready to find his forever family. Buddy is great with dogs, cats, and kids, and he adjusts beautifully to new friends of all shapes and sizes. He’s potty trained and crate trained, though he may whine a bit at first. He walks well on a leash, knows sit, and is very treat motivated. He’s a toy connoisseur who adores stuffies, bones, and Kongs, and he’s just as happy chewing a bone by your side as he is romping around with canine buddies. Buddy also loves a good game of fetch — especially with a soft toy — and his famous wiggly butt comes out in full force when he’s excited. And when he really gets playing? He does the most hysterical butt-slam truck move you’ve ever seen! Buddy does have a bad eye, the result of something that happened before arriving at MBR. He currently needs a daily medication to support his eye health. MBR is monitoring it closely and will discuss his ongoing care with potential adopters — but rest assured, Buddy doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. Buddy is a bright, loving, joy-filled boy who just wants to be with his people. If you think Buddy could be the perfect fit for your family, fill out an application ASAP! If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training, & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Age: 1 year Adoption Fee: $300

Story
My name is Serena, I am a Mastiff Shepherd mix born 7/13/25. My foster mom says I’m named after the goat, whatever that means. I’m going to be a big girl! I have a very curious nature, I love to play with the other dogs in my home but can also entertain myself with toys and if you’re handing out belly rubs I’m your girl! I’m looking for a family who will grow with me and help me be your ultimate best friend. I am doing well on my crate and potty training. Puppy class is recommended. Applicants should reside within a half hour of Toledo and have a history of current vaccines and heartworm preventative for any current or former pets. Due to high volume, inquiries made on petfinder and adoptapet will not be answered. Please complete an application on our website https://toledospetbullproject.com/adoption/

Story
🎄🏡 Mitosis Is Hoping for a Home for the Holidays 🏡🎄 While homes are filling with lights, laughter, and family gatherings, Mitosis is still waiting for a place to truly call his own. This 2-year-old, 111 lb Shepherd mix is a big, lovable guy who brings joy wherever he goes. He loves playing fetch, tug-of-war with his canine foster sister (an SMS alum!), and ending the day curled up close to his people for cuddles. Mitosis is smart, knows some basic commands, and enjoys structure. He does great with medium to large dogs, and his foster mom has been working with him around cats — with supervision, he’s doing very well, and we’re cautiously optimistic. Because he’s a big, strong boy, he’s looking for a family with large dog experience who can give him the guidance and activity he thrives on. 🎁 2 years old | 111 lbs 🐶 Dog-friendly (medium/large dogs) 🐾 Doing well with cats under supervision 🎾 Fetch & tug champ 🤗 Big-time cuddler 🩺 Fully vetted 💪 Large dog experience required All Mitosis wants this season is a family of his own. If you have room in your heart — and on your couch — Mitosis would love to be home for the holidays. ❤️🎄 👉 Apply to adopt: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SMS/Dog
