Story
File #25-091Current Foster Location: Kanata, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Hi, Im Theo. My superpower is making humans feel loved. I sleep through the night, wake up when you wake up, and then my day is mostly cuddles and naps. Im deaf, so I need a gentle touch to wake me and someone who will fetch me from the yard rather than call. On walks, I get so excited that I forget my manners and pull but Im working on it. I love people and Im great with other dogs (though I get a little excited when I see them far away). I mostly ignore cats, sometimes even sharing a snuggle without realizing theyre there. Im just a happy, friendly guy who thinks love is best shared 24/7. Please visit our website www.ittakesavillagedogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing dog and to see other available dogs.

Story
Bella is a young, lovable Mastiff mix bursting with energy and affection. She’s still very much a puppy at heart—playful, goofy, and always up for a cuddle once she feels safe. While she can be a bit shy at first, give her a little time and she’ll show you just how sweet and loyal she can be. Due to her size and exuberance, she’s best suited to a home with older children. The adoption fee includes Vaccinations: This includes: Rabies Leptospirosis Distemper Infectious Hepatitis/Adenovirus Parvovirus Parainfluenza Lyme Bloodwork: Testing for heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma Deworming Spay/Neuter Microchipping If the dog required any other vet treatment or surgery while in our care, this is also included in the adoption fee. All known medical information is explained to adopters prior to adoption. All our dogs come with a leash, collar, toy and a small bag of kibble. We put a lot of work, time, care and love into each one of these dogs. They are treated like one of our own. We are open and transparent about the dogs in our care.

Story
Hey there, I'm Rhett!  I was surrendered due to food aggression but I've been a good boy and haven't shown any signs of resource guarding at PDA. I am a sweet boy who gets along well with everyone, including other dogs. I haven't met a cat yet but I think they might make me nervous. Even though I haven't shown any resource guarding, I'd like to keep my relationship with food positive. I'm looking for someone with experience who can navigate resource guarding if needed.  Breed: Bull Mastiff/French Mastiff, approx 95lbs DOB: June 2024
