She ended up in the wrong homes twice, but that's all in the past and we're not going to let her down.....we have to find her the best home ever! She deserves it! Spice is all mastiff! She's going to protect you, she's going to lean on you, staring at you lovingly while practically knocking you over, and she may not like every stranger instantly but she does love people once she gets to know them.   Spice is about 125 lbs. but she's actually very good on a leash, she loves car rides, swimming, even baths! She's playful and loves her toys, and she's well-mannered too. Spice is one-woman-show, meaning no other pets for her.  She will  love you with her whole heart and will be your best, most loyal friend forever. She just needs the chance! Scoops came to Pet Friends from Animal Control after being picked up as a stray who was roaming town along with another dog (Addy) that is also now a resident of Pet Friends. After getting to know Scoops, it is huge mystery why anyone would abandon a dog this sweet. Despite her size, she is quite shy and skittish around people she has never met, but once she learns to trust you, Scoops is a love bug who craves human companionship. It also seems obvious that she has not been exposed to much of the world so she could use a patient owner who will slowly introduce her to new experiences in order to build Scoop's self-confidence. In the spirit of full disclosure, Scoops is likely a pure-bred or partial Mastiff, so drool should be expected! She seems good with other dogs, knows some basic commands and walks well on a leash. In an ideal world, Scoops would be adopted with her roamin' buddy Addy, but it is not a requirement. Come and meet Scoops - she will steal your heart in a big way. Attention big boy lovers, meet Hank.  Hank is three years old, housetrained and people friendly.  Due to his large stature Hank would do best in a home without young children; he tends to forget how big he is when he leans in to give his people hugs! Due to a past injury Hank has been hesitent to do more than a few outside stairs so would require minimal stairs.  As most dogs in his breed class, Hank is content with brief periods of physical activity during his day and prefers mental stimulation or just relaxing. Hank previosly lived with a feline companion but has shown to be less receptive to other dogs. He shows interst via tail wagging and barking but is unsure how to engage.  Hank may do best in an only dog home.  If your looking for a good natured, affectionate and dignified companion Hank may be the one for you! ##2046912##
