She's about 3 1/2 years old and Spice had it rough in the past. She ended up in the wrong homes twice, but that's all in the past and we're not going to let her down.....we have to find her the best home ever! She deserves it! Spice is all mastiff! She's going to protect you, she's going to lean on you, staring at you lovingly while practically knocking you over, and she may not like every stranger instantly but she does love people once she gets to know them.   Spice is about 125 lbs. but she's actually very good on a leash, she loves car rides, swimming, even baths! She's playful and loves her toys, and she's well-mannered too. Spice is one-woman-show, meaning no other pets for her.  She will  love you with her whole heart and will be your best, most loyal friend forever. She just needs the chance! If you like your dogs big, then we have one for you. Scoops came to Pet Friends from Animal Control after being picked up as a stray who was roaming town along with another dog (Addy) that is also now a resident of Pet Friends. After getting to know Scoops, it is huge mystery why anyone would abandon a dog this sweet. Despite her size, she is quite shy and skittish around people she has never met, but once she learns to trust you, Scoops is a love bug who craves human companionship. It also seems obvious that she has not been exposed to much of the world so she could use a patient owner who will slowly introduce her to new experiences in order to build Scoop's self-confidence. In the spirit of full disclosure, Scoops is likely a pure-bred or partial Mastiff, so drool should be expected! She seems good with other dogs, knows some basic commands and walks well on a leash. In an ideal world, Scoops would be adopted with her roamin' buddy Addy, but it is not a requirement. Come and meet Scoops - she will steal your heart in a big way. Cedric is a 4 1/2 month old mastiff/rottweiler mix. He's very sweet and loves to play, both inside and outside. He does a good job of going to the bathroom outside, but still has occasional accidents. We have enjoyed having him, but we just don't have the time to commit to training him. He's up to date on his shots, rabies vaccine, and has a flea/tick collar that is good until August.
