Attention big boy lovers, meet Hank.  Hank is three years old, housetrained and people friendly.  Due to his large stature Hank would do best in a home without young children; he tends to forget how big he is when he leans in to give his people hugs! Due to a past injury Hank has been hesitent to do more than a few outside stairs so would require minimal stairs.  As most dogs in his breed class, Hank is content with brief periods of physical activity during his day and prefers mental stimulation or just relaxing. Hank previosly lived with a feline companion but has shown to be less receptive to other dogs. He shows interst via tail wagging and barking but is unsure how to engage.  Hank may do best in an only dog home.  If your looking for a good natured, affectionate and dignified companion Hank may be the one for you! ##2046912##

Cedric is a 4 1/2 month old mastiff/rottweiler mix. He's very sweet and loves to play, both inside and outside. He does a good job of going to the bathroom outside, but still has occasional accidents. We have enjoyed having him, but we just don't have the time to commit to training him. He's up to date on his shots, rabies vaccine, and has a flea/tick collar that is good until August.

She's amazing- I'm a single mother of 2 young kids 7 and 5. So a lot of my time goes to them and my pup needs a family that can spend more time with her. I am devastated about this. However, she is skiddish towards strangers, but if they love dogs she'll warm right up. I just want to find my girl the perfect home she deserves, I prefer her to not be spayed until after a year old.

If you like your dogs big, then we have one for you. Scoops came to Pet Friends from Animal Control after being picked up as a stray who was roaming town along with another dog (Addy) that is also now a resident of Pet Friends. After getting to know Scoops, it is huge mystery why anyone would abandon a dog this sweet. Despite her size, she is quite shy and skittish around people she has never met, but once she learns to trust you, Scoops is a love bug who craves human companionship. It also seems obvious that she has not been exposed to much of the world so she could use a patient owner who will slowly introduce her to new experiences in order to build Scoop's self-confidence. In the spirit of full disclosure, Scoops is likely a pure-bred or partial Mastiff, so drool should be expected! She seems good with other dogs, knows some basic commands and walks well on a leash. In an ideal world, Scoops would be adopted with her roamin' buddy Addy, but it is not a requirement. Come and meet Scoops - she will steal your heart in a big way. Ever heard of a Mastidor!!  Mom was a full blooded Mastiff and Dad a black lab.  Onyx was purchased from a breeder and surrendered due to divorce.  She lived in a home with young kids and several cats.  She also loves dogs.  She is crate trained and was crated daily while parent went to work.  She is sweet as can be and oh so friendly! ##2034883##
