We're working on getting a picture of Hannah that shows more of her body because she has a gorgeous bronze brindle coat on her body with a black face & the white markings. Hannah is a 3 month old Mastiff/Pyrenees mix female.  She weighs about 17 lbs., & we're guessing she'll be 60 lbs., PLUS full grown.  We'd classify her energy level as high energy but she's a friendly puppy.  If you're interested in adopting Hannah call Friends for Animals 817-326-3647 to set up a meet/greet appt. &/or ask any questions you might have.  Phones are answered Noon-3 pm Tues, Thur., Fri. & Sat.  Please call before you visit to ensure Hannah is available.April 23, 2026, 10:17 pm

Story
In December of 2025 my husband and I found Sophie on the side of a country road. We stopped to check on her and realized she could not walk as she drug herself away from us in fear. Sadly, both of her back legs were broken – femur on one side and hip along with tib/fib on the other side. We also learned that she was less than a year old as her growth plates were still open. She did great through the surgery and they were able to save both of her legs. She has been a trooper through her recovery and is now able to walk and run again. She is a sweet and loving dog who enjoys belly rubs, likes playing ball, chewing on her toys and playing with our 7 year old lab. She is fully house trained and is able to free roam the house while we are away. She walks well on the leash but is scared of vehicles driving by as we think she was hit by a car. We are happy we were able to save her life and want to now find her a family that will give her the love and dedication she deserves.
