Story
Looking for a gentle giant to complete your family? Say hello to Duke, an adorable two-year-old Mastiff mix who's ready to fill your home with love and joy! This big-hearted boy has so much affection to give and is eagerly waiting for his forever family to come along. Inside the home, Duke is already a model citizen in many ways. He's fully house broken, comfortable in his crate, and absolutely adores being around his humans. Like many young dogs his size, he's still growing into his massive paws and personality. Duke would benefit from some continued reinforcement of his basic manners - he's quite strong on leash and gets so excited during playtime that he sometimes jumps up or gets a bit mouthy when his enthusiasm takes over. Duke would thrive with a family who has previous large breed experience and is willing to invest some time into his continued training. Due to his size and exuberance, we're looking for a home without children under 10 years old. He's not trying to be rambunctious - he just doesn't always realize how big he is! When meeting new dogs, Duke can be a bit unsure of himself initially and can be slightly reactive. The good news is that after a quick, proper introduction, he does wonderfully with other canines, especially female dogs. He does get excited around toys and food, so clear boundaries are important. Surprisingly, this big boy LOVES cats and would happily share his space with a dog-savvy feline friend! If Duke sounds like the perfect addition to your family, please contact us today. This lovable boy can't wait to meet you and show you just how much love he has to give! To ask about Duke, please contact us directly by calling 847-338-3252 or emailing info@redemptionroadinc.org. _____ See what's new with our rescue including updates on our animals and upcoming events:  https://lnk.bio/redemptionroadinc Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/R4inc/ Instagram: @redemptionroadinc Our trainer's Instagram:  @fullcircledogtrainer March 6, 2025, 9:43 am

Story
Heidi is downright hilarious — her quirky antics never fail to brighten the day. She’s mastered the art of folding herself in half just to snuggle up tight, and somehow, twisting upside down on the couch is her idea of the perfect lounging position. This independent lady knows how to keep herself entertained like a champ. She’ll toss her toys high into the air in the yard and catch them all by herself — no human needed. But honestly? She’d much rather have you join in on the fun. Bonus points if you smoosh her adorable face and tell her she’s the prettiest pup ever. After playtime, Heidi’s happy to curl up beside you for some serious couch snuggles while you binge-watch your favorite show. When it’s time for work, Heidi’s totally cool chilling in her crate, happily chewing on a bone and dreaming of her next jolly ball. Just don’t forget to swing by the store and pick up some tasty treats on your way home — she’s not picky, but she does appreciate a little thoughtfulness. After all, she’s got a big heart and high expectations for love!

Story
Meet Sam! Sam is a very handsome pup, estimated at about 3 years old. He’s thought to be a Mastiff Mix, but, rather small for the breed. Sadly, Sam found himself at an overcrowded noisy animal control facility down south. He deserves a forever home and family of his own, and we want to help him get there!! This precious pup absolutely loves people and is good with older kids who are respectful of dogs. We expect he is good with lower energy dogs. Dogs who are too active might scare him and cause him to react. Sam absolutely loves belly rubs, and treats too! He's a little rough around the edges in terms of training but clearly is eager to learn. Sam is in overall good physical shape however he does have some vision issues causing him to sometimes miss things coming his way….this is why we expect he’d be scared by higher energy dogs, and high-activity youngsters. Sam is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative. We would still like to get Sam to an eye specialist for a comprehensive examination of his eyes/vision. If you’d like to add Sam to your family, please contact BAARKDogRescue@gmail.com or 847-852-0895.

Story
Meet Goliath! 🐾 At 7 years old, Goliath is a gentle giant with a heart just as big as his paws. This senior Mastiff has been through a lot, but he's ready to settle down and enjoy the peaceful, loving life he’s always deserved. Don’t let his size fool you — Goliath is a sweet, soulful boy who’s all about quiet moments, soft blankets, and loyal companionship. He’s looking for a home where he can finally rest his head, stretch out those long legs, and maybe show off a little for the people he loves. Seniors like Goliath don’t ask for much. Just some patience, understanding, and the kind of unconditional love they’re so ready to give in return. A cozy bed, a soft voice, and a family who sees the beauty in his slow tail wags and soulful eyes — that’s all this big guy is hoping for. If you’ve got room in your heart and home for a mellow best friend who still has so much love to share, Goliath will be waiting with a grateful heart and a wagging tail. He’s not just looking for a place to stay — he’s looking for a place to belong. 🖤 Goliath is Heartworm +! If you have any questions about what that looks like, please reach out and our staff is happy to answer any questions.

Story
Meet Finn the Rockstar! Finn is a silly and great boy and looks like a rockstar with his appearance (being a mix of Blackmouth Cur and Shepherd breeds). Finn has grown into a big boy, weighing in at a whopping 60 pounds, he's a nice medium sized dog with a huge personality. He has a beautiful gray and tan coat and gentle, kind eyes. Overall, Finn is a great dog. He gets along with everyone, with proper introductions, and loves his people deeply. He's always good with dogs, having siblings is always a great social starter for most dogs. Based on Finn's interactions with everyone he would really do well with slow and proper introductions with anyone he meets. He might be a rockstar but he just rolls like that. Finn is laidback lovebug, kinda eyore-like, easygoing and slow. From the moment Finn wakes up he is ready and engines roarin' to show anyone how much love he has, it's A LOT OF LOVE!He is also VERY affectionate, anytime someone goes to great Finn he just loves to run up to them and give them a slobbering of kisses and a big hug. He's always so happy to see people and genuinely shows it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
