Story
I was helping out a neighbor while she(Tinkerbelle) was pregnant. At the time, I was in an okay place to keep her because I had a job and my own apartment. She’ll be 6 in December; he never told me her exact birthday so I chose the 15th. I live with my family now, I haven’t been able to find a job, and I haven’t been on my medication in almost two years. I was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder 4 years ago, and everything has been a struggle ever since. I’m just not in the right home, or state of mind to keep her even though I want to. I’m still dealing with triggers, not being able to afford to feed us both, and being in a house with so many people that she still isn’t used to. I just want her in a place that she can be truly cared for. She deserves patience, time, attention, car rides, trips to the park, and a decent meal everyday. I have no idea when I’ll be able to give that to her, so I want to find someone who can.

My name is Baby Girl. I am about 2 years old and weigh 40 lbs. I am a cross between adorable and the sweetest American bulldog mix ever!________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment only after your application is approved. One of ARNO's volunteer adoption counselors will be in contact with you to notify you of your approval status as well as arrange that appointment. Re-Meet Mz. Mizzy!This gorgeous girl has had quite the journey. She first came to Zeus’ Rescues weighing only 33 pounds, heartworm positive, and worn down from having litter after litter of puppies. Today, she’s nearly 70 pounds of pure love, heartworm free, spayed, and healthy.Mizzy was recently returned from what was supposed to be her forever home—through no fault of her own. Along the way, someone dyed her snowy white coat hot pink, and unfortunately, it hasn’t come out. But trust us—her beauty shines through, and her heart is even brighter.She adores kids and people of all kinds. She does well with calm, smaller dogs but isn’t a fan of cats or large dogs. Honestly, Mizzy would love nothing more than to be your one and only, though she’ll share her space with the right little canine friend.Personality-wise, she’s a total gem. Ask her “Who’s a good girl?” and you’ll get a hilarious display—running in circles, tail wagging, and hopping up for head scratches. Though she has bursts of silliness, Mizzy is actually a calm soul who simply thrives on love and attention.
