Spring came to our rescue with her litter of 2 week old babies after she was abandoned at the shelter, which is no place for a sweet little family. Now that her babies are all grown up and she has had some Mama relaxation time, she is ready to find a home to live out her golden years in! Spring weighs 27 pounds and is a low-rider! Are you a Pitbull lover but the size of a typical Pitty doesn't fit your life? Well, we have your answer here. This girl is all that but in a compact size!   Below is a note from Spring’s foster.  “Spring is a fabulously cuddly and loving gal who can’t wait to meet her new BFF! When you first meet her, she can take a little bit to warm up but once she does, she is ready for non-stop snuggles. She would love to find a home where she can spend her days loving her people, being the best zoom companion ever! Spring is more of a couch potato kind of dog, but she does love her daily romps around the neighborhood. Spring is fully potty trained both with potty pads and outside. Spring adores the softer things in life, from blankets to toys and dotes on her Lamb Chop. Spring would be a perfect hike companion or a “snuggle and movie” friend.  Spring starts her morning with a potty break and breakfast at around 7 AM. During the day, she hangs out in a playpen with her bed and toys. She spends her time mostly snoozing and soaking up the sunshine. After I finish work for the day, we go on a walk to the park where she sniffs and gets her zoomies out. After her walk, she comes home for dinner and snuggles as I unwind from the day. She ends her day curled up on her soft dog bed as she dreams of adventures ahead!  Spring would do best in a home where she can be the only dog, or with a chill companion. She loves walks and trots alongside me as we wander the neighborhood. Spring gets along with all people, but prefers a slow introduction, so a home with loud kids might not be the best fit for her. Spring is such a lovely girl with beautiful, soulful eyes who deserves the absolute best forever home.” Spring would be best suited for a home with prior dog experience, but she could be a first-time dog. Spring would do best as a solo dog. Kids in the home should be over the age of 10.May 11, 2024, 3:10 pm

This handsome man toured around the local shelters until we scooped him up and promised him we’d find him the best new people to serve as his back-up band. What could be better than a 2-for-1 combo of a new furry best friend AND a rockstar? We don’t know, because we have Def!     Def Leppard has a true rock star persona! Nothing phases this outgoing, confident, and loving dude. He immediately makes himself at home in any new environment, showing love and affection to all he meets. He truly adores his people above all else and spends his days dreaming of fun adventures in store for him! Def would love a home who wants a forever companion to do everything with, as he is so friendly he can go just about anywhere. While he is still learning more about the outside world, he takes comfort in his people showing him the way. With that being said, Def is a couch potato at the end of a long day and would love to snuggle for a movie marathon! Def is so cute and loveable, it is impossible to resist falling in love with his big puppy dog eyes when you meet him.  Def wakes up around 7 AM for a long stretch before breakfast. After he eats, he heads outside for a walk where he sniffs and goes potty. During the day, Def hangs out inside while his foster people work. He is great at keeping himself occupied with naps, toys, snuggles, and treats. He loves scrunchy toys that make noise and delights in playing solo catch. He gets another longer walk in the afternoon and loves saying hi to his neighborhood buddies! Dinner is at 6 PM before a long snuggle session on the couch. Nothing but the best for this rockstar! After one last potty session, Def heads to his crate for bedtime at 9 PM and snoozes the night away.  Def Leppard gets along with dogs of all ages and sizes. He would do well with a canine companion as a sibling or could be a solo act. Def is working on his training and leash walking skills and would benefit from continued training lessons and socialization. For those looking for a loyal companion, you won’t find better than Def.    Def Leppard is only an option for homes who have owned a dog in the past, even if that experience is less recent. Kids in the home should be over the age of 10.May 11, 2024, 3:10 pm

Mixie lept straight from his shelter cage into the welcoming arms of his rescuer and he has never looked back! This 14 pound cutie has a gorgeous gray coat, a wagging tail, and a love of adventure. Read on to hear about how Mixie will remix your life for the better!    Mixie is a world-class loverboy who has a heart of pure gold! He loves playing with toys, lounging around the house, and sniffing around the yard. He takes some time to get used to new people, but he loves his family above all else. He’s the kind of dog who needs correction when necessary but he looks up to you for everything once he knows you’re looking out for him! He is a total velcro dog who would love to follow you around the world if you let him. He is very smart as well and already knows to sit, stay, bed, and watch me. He is very treat motivated and a very good listener, so we know that list will only grow! Mixie is an amazing blend of playful and cuddly, so he can follow all your adventures.  Mixie starts his day at 6 AM with a wagging tail as he heads outside for potty time. He has breakfast once he comes back inside and then hangs out in the family room as his foster people get ready for the day. He joins the walk to school and says goodbye to the foster human siblings before he heads home for a long snooze in his warm dog bed. He loves running around the house showing off his toys and his bright smile. He happily hangs out in the crate when his foster people leave the house. In the evening, he gets a second meal before his second walk of the day. He spends some time snuggling his foster family before he goes to his crate for bed.  Mixie does well when his people can give him directions and leading. He needs reminders, especially on leash to “leave it” when he passes other dogs. Once he gets through an initial introduction, he can live happily with other dogs and adores playing around the yard.  Mixie loves to trot on the leash and has been working on his polite introductions to neighborhood pups. He’s been making fabulous progress and we expect his forever home to continue that progress. Mixie is fully house trained and crate trained.    Mixie would probably do best as a solo dog, or as a companion to a submissive pup. No kids in the household for Mixie, he prefers to get down with the adult crowd.May 11, 2024, 3:10 pm
