Story
Delta, Looking at her pictures, you'd never know she came in looking like a train wreck. This poor dog lived on the streets for years and she sure looked it when she came in. Those days are behind her now and she is ready to roll on to the next chapter. Delta is a around 6 yrs old and weighs close to 50 lbs and she is very true to her breed. She is a stubborn Basset Hound who will keep you laughing every day. We enjoy her antics around here and love watching her and her boyfriend Mack play. Delta was treated for heartworms and is currently being treated for Chagas disease. Don't let that worry you.... she is doing great and strong as a bull. She is doing great on treatment! She gets along best with male dogs but can coexisit with male or female if its the right dog. Delta is located in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to St Petersburg, FL on February 21st. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $450. The fee includes the transport cost. Every dog adopted through Tracy's Paws receives: Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) All core vaccines (age-appropriate) Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives Regular Deworming Spay/neuter surgery Microchip Breed listings are our best guess, based on appearance.
