This cutie is Alesie. She is currently3 month old. We think they may be a dachshund mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Meet Winnie! 🐾💕 If you’ve ever dreamed of having a dog who looks like someone accidentally hit the “stretch” button on a lab, then Winnie is your girl. She’s got the longggg, low-rider body of a dachshund and the sweet, expressive face of a mini lab—basically the best of both worlds, compacted into about two feet of pure cuteness. Winnie is the definition of a velcro dog. The second she decides you’re her person (which might only take five minutes, if you’re lucky!), she’ll be your little shadow forever. She’s a lap snuggler, a pet-seeker, and a certified professional in the “follow you everywhere” department. She bonded with her foster mom instantly and has been her tiny sidekick ever since. They coexist and live beautifully alongside her dog foster sister! Winnie does need a little patience with new people, especially men. She’s much more comfortable with women and will warm up to a patient guy who’s willing to earn her trust. She did great in her kid test, but she’d prefer a calmer home with kids 12 and up—she’s more of a “gentle movie night” kind of gal than a “chaotic toddler energy” one. Winnie walks beautifully on leash (like, seriously easy) and would be just as happy in an apartment as she would be in a home with a yard to explore. She’s tiny, portable, and ready for any adventure you throw her way—whether it’s a park stroll, a car ride, or a cozy nap marathon.
