Skeeter (Male) Story Description of the Pet **Applicant Requirements:** -Be at least 21 years of age and the Homeowner or Rentee. -Households with children under 8 years of age, must have a physical fence attached to the home or an electric/invisible fence. However, there are other instances when a fence may be required for the safety of the dog or puppy. Name: Skeeter Age: 4 years DOB: 9/22/22 Weight: 19 lbs Crate-trained: Yes PLEASE NOTE: To apply to adopt, the application and adoption process can be found on our website greenmorerescue.org. Please read dog's bio carefully before applying. Skeeter is a 4-year-old, 19-pound pup with a playful spirit and a whole lot of charm. He’s a fun-loving guy who brings great energy without being over the top—making him a perfect medium-energy companion. Skeeter is wonderful with kids and gets along well with other dogs, so he fits right into a variety of homes. He absolutely loves his stuffies and is always ready for a game or some playful time with his favorite toys. He enjoys walks and playtime, and while he’d certainly love space to romp, he doesn’t require a fenced yard as long as he has an active person to keep him engaged with regular exercise and fun outings. Skeeter is also a very clean boy—he keeps his crate spotless, which is always a big plus! If you’re looking for a happy, playful companion who’s equal parts fun and easygoing, Skeeter might just be your perfect match. Adoption donation is $425 cash, $450 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip. Another great reason to adopt form Greenmore….. Greenmore Rescue preforms the 4dx blood test on ALL of our adult dogs FREE OF CHARGE to adopters! This blood test checks for diseases such as Lyme and Heartworm Disease that are transmitted to dogs from a tick or mosquito bite. If the dog you are interested in tests positive for any of these conditions, treatment will already have been started or completed. Your Adoption Counselor will review any findings with you and we will provide all medical records, along with any medication the dog may need at the time of adoption. ***A NOTE ON BREEDS: The dog's listed breed(s) is the best assessment made by a veterinarian, pet finder or rescue staff and is not guaranteed. Story
Meet Rocky – A Brave Little Min Pin Looking for His Forever Home   Rocky is a ~5-year-old Miniature Pinscher with a big personality and an even bigger heart. After his owner became ill, Rocky came into rescue when his diabetes became too difficult to manage — but he’s now stable and thriving with proper medication and care. He will need a committed adopter to continue managing his diabetes and insulin routine.   Thanks to foster care, Rocky is rediscovering joy — he loves toys, treats, car rides, and snuggling under the blankets at bedtime. He’s playful, smart, and deeply bonded to his people.   Rocky is still a work in progress: • Potty training in progress (uses pads) • Not crate trained yet • Can be protective of food • Doesn’t love insulin injections, but is learning to trust   The basics: • Dog friendly • No cats • Travels well • Needs a patient, experienced, and loving home   Ideal home: Someone home often who can stick to his medical routine and give him consistency, patience, and love. A calm dog friend and fenced yard are a bonus.   Rocky has been through a lot, but he’s full of love and life — he just needs someone willing to give him the care and stability he deserves.   Fostered in Farmingdale, NJ Apply: peytonsplaceanimalrescue.org/adoption-application   ##2569540##

Story
He is the sweetest guy. Loves everyone, loves all pets, doesnt really make any noise unless youre unintentionally ignoring him when he is telling you to take him outside for a bathroom break and even then it will be one bark. When he has to go nunber 1 or 2 he will come up to you, kind of give you a crazy look, jump on you then run away a little. It's just him saying hey I have to go now pleaze follow me, its really awesome how he does it. He is about 7 years old, will only play outside or go on walks if he is off a leash so if you have a fenced in yard hes perfect. Even at a dog park he is great, he kind of just does his own thing and walks around the perimeter and when its time to go he will follow. Does NOT go for long walks when he is on a leash. I'm not sure why but he just doesn't, he is good for a bathroom break on a leash but he wont go past the yard on a leash. Overall just a sweet dog, loves to cuddle at night but not too clingy sometimes he just likes to lay on his own.

Story
If interested in Maya, apply here:https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CPAR/DogMaya is a 2 year old, 34 lb Sato with the sweetest expressive face and the cutest little ears that always seem to be listening. A Sato is a Puerto Rican street dog, known for being incredibly resilient, intelligent, and loyal.Maya is still adjusting to life in a home and can be timid with new surroundings at first. Everything is still very new and unfamiliar to her, so she is looking for a patient adopter who will let her decompress at her own pace and continue building confidence. Despite being nervous initially, she is already making wonderful progress in foster care and is beginning to play with the other dogs and show her happy personality. She is fully house trained, leash trained, sleeps quietly in her crate all night, and does great crated while her foster is away. Maya responds very well to treats and is eager to learn. She is also wonderful with kids and enjoys other dogs. She can be a little jumpy when excited, so she is currently working on her manners.Maya is not quite a cuddle bug yet because she is still learning to relax and trust, but underneath it all is a very sweet, happy girl who just needs someone willing to give her time and understanding. Watching shy dogs like Maya blossom is one of the most rewarding experiences, and she is already showing signs of the amazing companion she is going to become.Maya is being fostered in Nottingham, MD.PLEASE READ:Any dog that is house or potty trained will still need patience in a new home with new people and a new schedule. Please be ready to train ANY dog you adopt! Also, please understand we can not guarantee breed or full grown size of any young dog or puppy.Thank you for understanding.
