Jackson is around 10 years old. His owner unfortunately passed away and we took him in while we look for a home for him. He's an energetic senior dog, is very loving and affectionate. He comforts people when they're not feeling good. Im not looking for anything in return, just looking for a loving home willing to take care of him, for him. I dont have much information on jackson.

This adorable, spunky, silly girl is heartbroken because she has absolutely zero interest from anyone wanting to adopt her. She has now set the record for the longest dog in our foster program. Pachi has been with us for a year and a half and prior to our rescue she had been in a shelter for several months. Pachi is the cutest little dog with the coolest ears. She is much smaller than she appears in her photos. (Under 30lbs). Pachi is a true gem, and we can't explain how lucky her person will be once they find each other. She's shown incredible growth but needs a home with structure and routine to continue to grow. Pachi finds joy in the simple pleasures of life, like chasing a toy or curling up on the couch and loves to share blueberries and bananas for breakfast with her foster mom. Pachi is most comfortable with women but is open to anyone with a soft side. She would do best with an adult-only home, or with older children. Pachi likes to be the center of attention, so no other pets. She is not a fan of felines. Pachi prefers a home with a fenced in yard to run around in. We know that her person/people are out there, but we need your help to find this deserving girl her much deserved forever home. Please share. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Kobe is a super sweet, energetic dog and the biggest cuddlebug—he loves snuggling with people as much as he loves playtime. He enjoys the company of other dogs, though he can be selective and would do best with a more submissive canine companion. Kobe is not fond of cats, so he would do best in a cat-free home. Story
Muggs was adopted in Virginia during Covid after he was fostered for a few months and wormed his way into our hearts. He has since lived in Oregon, California and back to Maryland. He is approximately 9 years old and very handsome if a little small, weighing in at 7-8lbs. Unfortunately he is very very very attached to my wife which makes him very grumpy when our young children get in-between him and my wife which makes for a somewhat what fraught environment especially as we are expecting another one shortly we have made the hard decision to find him a new home. When on leash outside he reacts poorly with other dogs but when off leash he is fine and has lived in houses with other dogs and cats with no problems. He would be a perfect companion for someone older as while he loves his walks his prime activity is basking in the sun or curled up in a blanket with his owner asleep.
