Story
Quinn 11 weeks old • 4 pounds • Harlequin Pinscher Meet Quinn — a teeny, tiny Harlequin Pinscher with a heart ten sizes bigger than his 4-pound body. 💙 Harlequins are just like Miniature Pinschers, but with a beautifully reintroduced coat pattern that makes them extra striking — and Quinn wears it well. Quinn is blind, but don’t let that fool you. He can see shadows and gets around like a pro. Once he maps out his space, he zooms with confidence and follows voices like a champ. He doesn’t feel sorry for himself one bit — and neither should you. What he does live for? Snuggles. This little guy melts right into your neck or curls perfectly into the crook of your arm like he was custom-made to fit there. He is unbelievably sweet, gentle, and happiest when he’s tucked close to his person. ✔️ Great with other dogs ✔️ Quiet in the car ✔️ Crate trained ✔️ Potty training is a work in progress (he’s just a baby!) Because of his blindness and tiny size, Quinn is looking for a home without young children where he can feel safe and secure. If you’re ready for a pocket-sized cuddle bug who will bond deeply and love you fiercely, Quinn is waiting to find his forever arms. 💕 Please apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DBSR/Dog His minimum adoption donation amount is $415. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heart worm checked, and on flea/tick and heart worm preventatives. We are located in Bloomington, IL We do not ship, you would need to travel to pick up your babies if you live out of state. Your current pets must be up-to-date on core vaccines, spayed/neutered, and on heart worm prevention year round. You must be at least 21-years-old to adopt. Please have your veterinarian and two non-family reference phone numbers ready. The app makes you start all over if you leave the page to look up numbers. Story
Meet Gherkin, a 2-year-old Miniature Pinscher mix who weighs 14 pounds! Just like his pickle-inspired name, this little guy is full of personality. He’s energetic, fun, playful, and always ready to cuddle once he’s had his zoomies. Gherkin seems to do well with dogs his size or smaller, but he’s not a fan of big dogs. He’s also quite the vocal boy, so he’ll need a home without shared walls. Apartments, townhomes, and other attached housing won’t be the right fit for him. If you’re looking for a small companion with a big, lively personality, Gherkin is ready to add some zest to your life! His minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Meet Thistle.  She is a 3 year old Miniature Pincer mix who weighs 17 lbs.  Thistle is a gentle, shy soul who is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She’s making steady progress with her house-training and is already a pro in her crate, where she feels secure and comfortable.   This sweet girl is reserved and timid at first, often fearful and cautious until she learns to trust. But once she feels safe, Thistle blossoms into a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be close to her person—she’ll even snuggle under the covers at night. Thistle will thrive in a quiet, adult-only home with few visitors. Because of her fearfulness and potential as a flight risk, a secure fenced yard is required. She coexists peacefully with other dogs but prefers to be the only dog in the home, as she can be protective of her special person. Her foster mom describes her as a dog who “wants desperately to trust” and believes that with patience, Thistle will become the “super dog she is meant to be.” Her adoption fee is $250 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
