Meet Baxter. His owner died and he came into rescue. He was living outside at his original home and is still working on potty training. We are guessing him to be a minpin mix with maybe either Beagle or jack Russell. He is about 25 pounds and fully vetted. Great with other dogs. He can be scared at first, he has been thru a lot in a short time.   If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. They currently are fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, preventatives and are microchipped (with lifetime registration). Adoption fee is $215 with approved application, applications can be filled out at this link. https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/10167/generic . ##2564856##

Story
Meet Ricky - Your New Best Friend in Miniature Form! Available for Adoption - Miniature Pinscher If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who will melt your heart and brighten your days, Ricky is your guy! This sweet miniature pincher is a world-class cuddler. He loves curling up in a tiny ball on your lap or snoozing right next to your leg. If cozy companionship is your love language, Ricky understands it perfectly. What Ricky Loves: • Cuddling - your lap, your side, your blanket... he's not picky! • Walks — he's curious and loves exploring the world beside you. • His People — especially women; he becomes very protective of those he bonds with. • Greeting you at the door — he does an adorable excited dance and can even stand on his hind legs! * Good Boy Credentials: • Fully house-trained • Crate-trained (but would love to sleep in your bed if allowed!) • Gives a helpful bark when someone is outside or when he hears a noise • Eats lightly — prefers little snacks throughout the-day instead of big meals A Few Quirks (that make him even more lovable): • He's not a fan of rain or snow (but who can blame him with those tiny paws!) • He can be timid around men at first, but can warm up with time and patience • Has a cute whimper when he wants your attention — and it's impossible to resist Who Should Adopt Ricky? Someone who wants a sweet, loyal, snuggly companion who will be by their side through thick and thin. Someone patient, kind, and ready to give him a warm, safe place to call home. If you're looking for a new best friend who will love you deeply and faithfully, Ricky is ready to meet you. * Adopt Ricky — and give this precious boy the forever home he deserves!

Story
Meet Cindy Lou Who! Cindy is a petite miniature pinscher mix who weighs 27 pounds and is two years old. She loves pets and attention from her humans. Cindy came to us from the shelter, so her beginnings are unknown. She is as sweet as can be and loves everyone she meets. She likes to play like a big dog, even though she is smaller in stature. Cindy’s favorite things to do are curling up in a snuggly bed and getting belly rubs from her human. She also enjoys running in the backyard and has a medium energy level. Cindy is still working on her house training but is crate trained. She is good with dogs and cats and is fostered with both. Cindy would love a home that will continue her training. If she sounds like the perfect pup for you, apply today! Cindy Lou Who is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $275.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Hi, I'm Peggy. I was living in a car with my owner and my mama. My owner decided we deserved better homes so now we're with ARPO. I'm a super sweet girl who does great with dogs, cats, and people of all ages. My breed mix is anyone's guess, but Mama appears to be a miniature pinscher mix. Dad was apparently something bigger. I was born in october of 2024 and weigh about 32 pounds, but I need to gain a few more. I'm spayed, microchipped, current on my shots, and HW negative. I am crate trained and doing well with housebreaking, but I will likely need a refresher in my new home. If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application and my friends with ARPO will be in touch! If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website at arporescue.org to learn more about our adoption process and complete our adoption application. ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis. We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.
