I wasn’t given a lot of experiences in my life like going to the park and meeting other dogs in public, but after doing new things 2 or 3 times I settle right in. I am very adaptable in that way. Even though I get along with dogs, I don’t like it when they get in my face, so if you have a dog already, hopefully it is on the “chiller” side. Some of my favorite things are: following my person around like a shadow, sun bathing and rolling around on my back in the grass. I am currently in the process of losing weight and getting in shape, so I will need a family who is willing to commit to my weight loss journey.I cannot wait to find my very own family who will give me all the love and attention and exercise that I deserve. We don't know what his life has been like to this point.  He is a sweet boy who was only able to trust his handler and became "clingy" once he did.  Odie is very affectionate & is starting to come out of his shell. He is housebroken, crate trained with no barking, walks on a leash & has learned sit, stay, down, wait & leave it so far. That's a lot for such a withdrawn little fellah to learn in six weeks, so he's shown he is willing to learn, eager to please & a pretty smart guy! He doesn't particularly like other dogs & has trouble interacting with them. He would probably NOT be a good fit in a home with children!! Odie is very protective of his environment & the people in it, so he will bark if strangers intrude. Once he's met someone & knows he isn't in danger he is a very affectionate boy. He needs to learn how to trust people, play with toys & just be a confident, happy boy. If you have it in your heart to give him some time, patience & love, you could help this lil guy blossom into a great pet! He does best with women since men are a little scary to him still, but he is learning they're not all bad. Lily is almost 8 years old. We have had her since she was a pup, but since my parents divorce and being 19 I am unable to keep her. Between work and college I have to move and I can’t keep her where I’m moving. Lily is very animal selective and will not do good with children. She takes trazadone twice daily for her anxiety. She is mostly house trained but has the occasional accident. She needs someone experienced with min pins as they are high energy. She needs a home where she has a big fenced in yard to run in. This is absolutely devastating for me so I would want an adopter that will send me updates, pictures, etc. I have had Lily since she was just 8 weeks old. I can provide more information upon request.
