Story
Meet Baxter. His owner died and he came into rescue. He was living outside at his original home and is still working on potty training. We are guessing him to be a minpin mix with maybe either Beagle or jack Russell. He is about 25 pounds and fully vetted. Great with other dogs. He can be scared at first, he has been thru a lot in a short time. We recommend a home with no children because their unpredictable actions may scare him.    If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. They currently are fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, preventatives and are microchipped (with lifetime registration). Adoption fee is $215 with approved application, applications can be filled out at this link. https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/10167/generic . ##2564856##

✨️AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION✨️ Hank is a 7 year old Min Pin looking for his forever home! In true Min Pin fashion, it's Hank's world and we're all just living in it. Hank has 3 rules that he lives by, and may the odds be in your favor if you choose to ignore his rules 1️⃣ Hank doesn't like to be picked up 2️⃣ Hank doesn't like his feet touched 3️⃣ Hank does what Hank wants In all seriousness, over time, Hank has gotten much better about respecting his foster mom and her rules, but he still has his stubborn moments! ✅️ 25 lbs ✅ House trained ✅️ LOVES to cuddle his people - on the couch or at night in the bed. But don't forget Rule #1 - he'll get himself up there! ️✅️ Crate trained, but doesn't need it! ✅️ Good with dogs with slow intros ✅️ Good with dog savvy cats, he likes to chase them!   No kids If you are looking for a min pin to rule your household - look no further than Hank!August 23, 2026, 10:41 pm

Story
Looking for a home for my six year old min pin, chihuahua, rat terrier mix. We are having to put down our 17 year old blind and deaf little girl because her quality of life has become of great concern, and Romeo has been with her for his whole life and doesn’t get along well with other dogs other than her ( food aggression) but she is head of the house so he never messed with Hemi. We have cats that he does get along with but he likes to chase them and sniff them at times so I don’t want to promise he’ll get along with cats and it not be the case. I know that he is pretty overweight but unfortunately as our kids got older and us trying to stay afloat he spends a lot of time in his crate and is crate trained. My husband and I have both been blessed with new jobs however they are 8 plus hours a day and I feel horrible for him, it’s not fair. I would love if an older couple with no kids could take him and spend the time he deserves with him as there only dog.

Story
Little tripod PIERCE has recovered well from his amputation surgery and is ready to find his furever home! Pierce is a sweet, affectionate boy, about 8-10 months old and fully grown at 15 pounds. He spends his days charming his foster family, playing with his toys, playing with his foster siblings and just generally loving life. His 3 favorite times of day are play time, cuddle time and dinner time. Living on 3 legs doesn't slow him down a bit, he runs and plays with his foster siblings like any young dog. Pierce is a handsome mixed breed little guy, our best guess is a MinPin/Rat Terrier type mix. He navigates very well on 3 legs, he wasn't using the leg that was injured months ago and badly healed. Pierce is basicallly perfect, he's housebroken, crate trained and good with cats and other dogs. He would love to find a home with another similar-sized medium energy dog who loves to play. If you'd like to meet Pierce, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Pierce at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Story
Shaggy was pulled out of a miserable situation. He lived in a home that was covered in filth. He and the other animals in the home were stuck inside all the time and were given little to eat. Shelter staff had noticed a couple of the animals had been eating their own feces for a "meal". Shaggy very likely grew up in this environment. Because of this, he will need extra training regarding his potty training and eating habits. He currently scarfs down every piece of kibble he is given. While we have not seen any food aggression, this sort of situation can cause it to occur. Feeding him separately in a crate or using a slow feeder is encouraged.🐾 ADOPTION INFORMATION 🐾Thinking about adding a new furry family member?
