Meet Buddy the Elf - 30 Pounds of Goofy, Galloping Joy!! No, not that Buddy the Elf - but this one! And this one might be even better (and he doesn't need maple syrup on spaghetti). Buddy is a 10-month-old Min Pin/ Doberman mix who's basically the lovechild of a weekend hiker, a stand-up comedian, and a professional snuggler. Weighing in at 30ish lbs, he's the perfect size for both Netflix marathons and off-leash camping adventures - and yes, he's mastered the art of name recall, which means... when you call him, he actually shows up (take that, toddlers). This goofy little elf is: - A total water bug (sprinklers? puddles? kiddie pool? He's in.) - Dog-social and the life of the four-legged party - Sweet, snuggly, and hilariously expressive - A hiking buddy who sticks with his people like Velcro with legs We don't know how he feels about cats or kids yet, but if they like laughter, tail wags, and the occasional zoomie, we're optimistic. Buddy's dream home is one with an active, loving family who won't mind sharing the couch, the trail, or their heart with a pup whose entire vibe is a joy filled and loyal adventure buddy. Hi there!  My name is Hank. I’m a miniature pinscher and I need a special adopter. I’m an adult, and I weigh about twenty five pounds. Now here’s why I need a special person. I am not very trusting at first and sometimes I try to bite because there are some things I don’t like. Number one: I don’t like being picked up. Number two: I don’t like having my feet touched. Number three: I prefer not to be told what to do. I’ve been with my foster mom for a while now and she works around my triggers. If she has to pick me up she makes sure I can’t bite, same with wiping my feet. She also tells me what to do and doesn’t seem to mind when I tell her I’m not a fan of discipline. She says I’ve gotten much better about my triggers too! I like friendly dogs but may bully them at first if I feel threatened. I would do best in a home with no kids or with kids who respect my space. I can also coexist with dog savvy cats because I like to chase them. I’m also crate trained and go in for treats but I don’t need to be crated because I’m super well behaved. I’m also a champion cuddled and love to sit in laps and sleep next to my person. November 30, 2024, 9:57 am

Hello there! My name is Dutchess Lina and I am around 9 years old, 12 pounds, and believed to be a Miniature Pinscher (whatever that means!). I love to snuggle and play with my friends. Sometimes new people spook me but I warm up easily! While I do enjoy making new friends, I would love to find a family who gives me patience and allows me to ease into new spaces. I have fun around other dogs, cats, humans and kids! I enjoy going for walks and will need someone who can keep a firm grip on my leash due to being "easily spooked" (as my foster mom says!). While I do have alot of spunk left, I am getting older and at times may need some extra assistance (those pesky stairs aren't my favorite to go down alone!). I would love to join your family if you are looking for a snuggly old lady who enjoys playtime!You may apply to adopt Dutchess Lina at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt.
