Story
I may be called Pretzel, but the only thing I’m twisted up about is why I don’t have a family yet! I’m Pretzel (61595968), a 3 month old Miniature Pinscher mix boy with a happy heart and playful puppy spirit. I love treats, I’m already working hard on learning SIT, and I have so many more puppy things I’m excited to master! All I need is a loving family to teach me, cheer me on, and let me grow up right by their side. Bring the treats! I’ll bring a lifetime of love and friendship!   Check out all the adoptable animals on the shelter's website! https://www.collincountytx.gov/Services/Animal-Services/adoptable-pets All adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip and first round of vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit me at Collin County Animal Services - 4750 Community Ave, McKinney TX. Shelter is open Tues-Fri 11-6, Sat-Sun 11-5 August 27, 2026, 4:29 pm

Story
Milo is looking for a home with a woman, no children, and if there is a man in the home, he will need to be patient and allow Milo to build trust at his own pace. We make these recommendations because Milo can be protective of his home and the people he loves. Interestingly, once he’s out in public, he’s a completely different dog! He happily turns on the charm for children, men, and just about everyone he meets. Milo is both potty trained and kennel trained. He has excellent house manners and can be trusted to stay out of a kennel when left home alone. He loves to go for walks and at bedtime, his favorite place is snuggled up under the covers with his foster mom. Milo is currently living in a foster home with other dogs. While he enjoys their company, he’s not interested in playing with them. He’s perfectly content to relax nearby and simply coexist. Because of this, Milo would do well as an only dog, or in a home with another calm, laid-back dog that doesn’t expect a playmate. If another dog repeatedly tries to engage him in play, Milo may let them know he’s not interested by lifting his lip or giving a small growl to set boundaries. Milo is a 6 year old, 15 lb Chihuahua mix. If you are interested in adopting Milo, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2487806##
