Story
Fern and her friend Ranger were found stuck in a drain pipe. We have no idea for how long they were down there with no way to get out. Luckily someone heard them and firefighters jumped in to do everything they could to get them out. In terrible condition, dehydrated, emaciated, scared these dogs were rushed to ER. Fern was released into foster care for her journey of recovery. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Lola was rescued by an elderly couple when she was one year old. She was raised and well-cared for by her owners in a loving home. One of the owners had a fall resulting in a traumatic brain injury and was in and out of hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. The owners had to eventually move into an assisted living facility where they can no longer care for their Lola. They are hoping to find a forever loving home for their Lola. She knows basic commands and is house broken. She loves to be petted especially belly rubs! Would you please consider giving Lola her forever home?

Story
Minnie is a dainty little lady with a heart as big as her ears! Weighing just 10 pounds and estimated to be around 3 years old, Minnie could be a purebred Miniature Pinscher, with her sleek coat and professionally cropped ears. But more importantly, she’s a loving and loyal companion. Found alone in a cul-de-sac, it’s believed Minnie was abandoned after having a litter of puppies. Despite a thorough search, no owners came forward. Thankfully, she’s now safe, fully vetted, and ready for her forever home. Minnie was adopted a few months ago, but due to her adopter’s unforeseen health issues, she was heartbreakingly returned. We respect their hard decision and are grateful for the glowing reports of how wonderful Minnie was in their care. 🐾 Minnie’s Best Qualities: ✔️ Gets along beautifully with other dogs. ✔️ Great with respectful older kids (13+). ✔️ Not nippy, quiet, and doesn’t bark excessively. ✔️ Crate trained – she willingly goes into her crate. ✔️ Pee pad trained – no accidents when kept in the laundry room overnight or while unattended. While she’s not fully housebroken, Minnie is making excellent progress with pee pads. She would thrive in a home that can offer her stability, comfort, and gentle companionship. 💖 Could Minnie be your new best friend? We’re currently accepting applications for her adoption. 📍 Dallas, TX area 💲 Adoption Fee: $225
