Story
Meet Bentley! Bentley is a 12-year-old Min Pin mix who came to us nearly three years ago with a badly broken leg. Despite a complex surgery, an infection meant his leg had to be removed—but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Once he was finally pain-free, Bentley’s whole personality blossomed! This little gentleman isn’t your typical small-breed pup. He’s incredibly well-rounded and adores humans of all ages—he recently lit up with joy when two small children helped at his photo shoot. Bentley is crate trained (though he prefers using it as a cozy retreat with the door open) and does well with his potty habits when taken outside regularly. In his foster home, Bentley lives peacefully with multiple dogs and happily does his own thing when he needs quiet time. He rarely barks—except when he’s politely requesting dinner or a cuddle.Bentley may be a senior, but he’ll surprise you with his charm, resilience, and loving personality. Senior dogs like Bentley deserve a second chance at love—could it be with you?To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
James is a sweet, calm senior who has spent a lifetime giving love, and now he’s hoping someone will open their heart to him in his golden years. He may move a little slower and nap a little longer these days, but his tail still wags with the same joy and gratitude as ever. He’s well-mannered, easygoing, and happiest simply being near his people. Whether it’s a quiet walk, a cozy spot by your feet, or slow, gentle cuddles, James has a way of bringing peace and warmth to any home. Senior dogs ask for very little—comfort, kindness, and a safe place to rest—and they give so much in return. If you’ve ever wanted to make a truly meaningful difference in a dog’s life, offering a loving home to James would mean the world to him. If you think you might be that special someone, please reach out. This wonderful old friend still has plenty of love left to give.
