Despite a complex surgery, an infection meant his leg had to be removed—but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Once he was finally pain-free, Bentley’s whole personality blossomed!This little gentleman isn’t your typical small-breed pup. He’s incredibly well-rounded and adores humans of all ages—he recently lit up with joy when two small children helped at his photo shoot. Bentley is crate trained (though he prefers using it as a cozy retreat with the door open) and does well with his potty habits when taken outside regularly.In his foster home, Bentley lives peacefully with multiple dogs and happily does his own thing when he needs quiet time. He rarely barks—except when he’s politely requesting dinner or a cuddle.Bentley may be a senior, but he’ll surprise you with his charm, resilience, and loving personality. This little gentleman weighs just 12 lbs but has a heart big enough for everyone he meets. Max is about 3 years old and gets along with dogs of all sizes and cats. Despite having a little Chihuahua in his mix, he’s not a scrapper — Max just wants to be friends. He’s the total package: housetrained, leash trained, and crate trained. We think he had a family once, but sadly no one has come looking for him. Max was found in Ennis TX after being picked on by a larger dog while both were chasing after a female (don’t worry — he was neutered on 9/26, so that’s behind him now!). Max is happiest when he’s close to his people — cuddling, riding shotgun in the car, or tagging along as the perfect “purse dog.” If you’re looking for a loyal, pint-sized companion, Max is ready to hop in your lap and go wherever life takes you.
