Story
Meet Lover Boy!   This spirited guy is definitely a lover; a lover of some serious play-time! Currently, that is the only thing he is serious about! Lover Boy is definitely an “all play and no work” kind of puppy, and is happiest when he is horsing-around with his friends. Small dogs, big dogs, toys, – he doesn’t discriminate when it comes to having fun. As long as he’s able to be a goofy boy, everything is groovy. The only other thing he may love almost as much are high quality belly rubs, and treats.   BONUS: Lover Boy is both potty and crate trained! Great With: Other dogs and kids!Ideal Home: Lover Boy would do best with an energetic family or individual, (potentially with another canine-companion!), that look forward to play-time, and are willing to provide additional training, enrichment, and endless belly rubs so he can grow into the best version of himself! If you’re looking for a silly, playful, and loving companion, Lover Boy is your guy!   What is Path of Hope Rescue’s Adoption Process? Our adoption process takes on average 7-10 days. Begin by completing the online application. EVERY application receives an email response from us (check your spam folder!). Your personal Matchmaker will contact you, help you find your perfect pup match, and guide you through the process. Meet your potential pup at the home of the foster family (the process may differ slightly for long distance adopters). Bring your potential pup home for a no commitment In Home Trial. In Home Trials are a minimum of (2) nights for a puppy and one week for an adult. Your Matchmaker will check in with you during this time. Sign the adoption paperwork and adopt your new family member! Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue Our adoption process sets us apart. We specialize in learning about you and your family to find just the right fit for you. Our Matchmakers are not only good at what they do; they will also guide you through the entire process.  Our Minimum Adoption Donation is $550 for puppies under a year and $450 for dogs a year and older. We are a WA state registered non-profit and rely heavily on adoption donations to cover the expenses associated with saving lives. Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccinations (when age appropriate) and deworming and heartworm treatment/prevention. Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course.  Long Distance adopters (one hour or more from Spokane) may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option, Puppy Delivery Express, for an additional delivery donation of $250. Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon. About Path of Hope Rescue At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes. We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events.  Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process.   ##2640364##

Story
This is Jack. He’s a Min Pin rescue. We rescued him when he was about 3 months old and we’ve had him for 9 years. He was neutered when we rescued him. Unfortunately, we are looking to find him a new home. He really is a good dog. As our family grows, we just aren’t able to give him the attention he needs/deserves. His barking has gotten a little more intense as he’s gotten older as well. All that said, he’s very sweet and loves to snuggle. If anyone is interested, please let me know. -potty trained -crate trained -knows a few tricks 😃

Story
Meet Rory – The Mighty Mini with a Big Personality! Breed: Miniature Pinscher Mix Age: 1.5 years Gender: Male Size: Small to Medium Needs: Doggy friend, tall fence Rory may be a Miniature Pinscher mix, but don’t let the “mini” fool you. This 1.5-year-old boy has energy to spare and a spring in his step (literally… he can leap 3 to 4 feet in a single bound!). He’s playful, curious, and always up for an adventure in the yard with his doggie pals. Rory is almost fully house-trained and is a champ in his crate. He gets along great with other dogs and cats, but we’re not sure yet how he feels about kids. So any potential kiddo friends should meet him first. He’s a little shy with strangers, but once you’ve earned his trust, you’ll find a loving, fun companion who will keep you smiling. Rory doesn’t want to be the only canine in the house. He needs a canine buddy to wrestle, chase, and share zoomies with. A secure, high fence is a must to contain his athletic leaps, and a yard to run in will make him one happy pup. If you’re looking for an energetic, playful dog who will light up your life (and maybe your backyard), Rory is ready to hop right into your heart.
