Story
Saphira was only eleven months old, a tiny Min Pin mix with bright eyes and a heart that refused to dim, even when life got rough. The veterinarians believed she had been hit by a car, and for a while, her future felt uncertain. But Saphira wasn’t the kind of pup who gave up. She was the kind who fought her way back to joy. Her foster mom became her safe place — the one who carried her gently, whispered encouragement, and made sure she got every bit of care she needed. Today, she took Saphira in for more X‑rays, wanting to be absolutely sure her little fighter was healing the way she deserved. And the news was everything they hoped for. Saphira is cleared, healthy, and ready — ready for walks, ready for cuddles, ready for a family who will love her for the rest of her life. She still has that spark, that wiggle, that “I made it” glow that only rescue dogs seem to carry. She’s playful, sweet, and endlessly grateful for every soft bed, every kind hand, every new beginning. Now all she needs is someone who sees her the way her foster mom does — as a survivor, a sweetheart, and a once‑in‑a‑lifetime companion. Saphira’s next chapter is waiting. She just needs her person to turn the page.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Minnie!  I’m a Min Pin/Chihuahua mix with a sweet heart that just needs a little time to shine. When I first meet new people, I can be shy and a bit nervous. I may run away and bark, but I promise I do want to be in your lap. I do really well with other dogs. Unsure about cats. I am not leash trained, but volunteers are working with me on that.  Once I trust you, my real personality comes out: happy hops, nonstop tail wags, and lots of excitement when I see my people. Please note, I do know how to climb fences.  Minnie has received extensive veterinary care while in our rescue. When she went in for her spay surgery, our veterinarian noticed an irregular heartbeat with bradycardia, although no obvious heart murmur was detected. To ensure we had a complete picture of her health, we proceeded with comprehensive bloodwork and a full echocardiogram. Her bloodwork results were completely normal, including a negative Chagas test. The echocardiogram showed a structurally and functionally normal heart. According to the cardiologist's report, the limited ECG available for review was consistent with a sinus arrhythmia. Overall, Minnie's cardiac evaluation was very reassuring and showed no significant abnormalities. I’m already spayed, 4DX negative, microchipped, current on vaccines, protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, and ready to start my new life! My adoption fee is $400. Apply to adopt me at: www.adoggie4you.org I’m currently in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and along the East Coast. If I need a ride, there’s an additional $225 transport fee. (I’m unable to travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 9, 2026, 5:26 pm

Story
Pooh Bear is a rescue from a high kill shelter in California. We don’t know what happened but he was confiscated by authorities which tells us the conditions where he was living must have been bad. He is shy in the beginning but will warm up quickly. This little guy deserves the absolute best and we are looking for a stable, quiet home for him where he can blossom and gets lots of love. Please call us if you’re interested in adopting him. 360 2580702 🥰💕🥰💕🥰💕🥰💕

Story
A tennis ball enthusiast trapped inside the body of a tiny retired gentleman. That is Glover! Glover is estimated to be around 8 years old, weighs 16 lbs, and looks very much like a Miniature Pinscher/Rat Terrier mix, though rescue rules apply and breed and age are simply our best guess. What we know for certain is that Glover has mastered the art of being easy company. He is the kind of dog who settles in quickly, makes himself at home almost immediately, and seems perfectly content just being part of whatever you're doing. Go watch Glover | Tiny Toy Collector and Professional Sidekick on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this sweet little gentleman. https://youtu.be/8MmW1UBuEAA Glover is currently being fostered in a loving home, and his foster shared that one of his favorite things in the world is toys. Not only does he love collecting them, he also enjoys a good game of fetch. For a dog who is otherwise fairly low energy, he still has a playful little spark that comes alive when toys are involved. His foster also shared that he gets along wonderfully with their dog, is naturally curious, and has a way of making himself comfortable in new spaces almost right away. That confidence showed up just the same when we initially met him. Glover handled new people, new dogs, new environments, and all the usual hustle and bustle with an easygoing attitude. He greeted everyone politely, shared affection and toys nicely with other dogs, and patiently waited his turn for treats. While many dogs his age might hesitate in unfamiliar surroundings, Glover simply wandered around, checked everything out, and carried on with his day. One thing worth noting is that Glover appears to have some age-related changes to his hearing and eyesight. The funny thing is that he seems completely unbothered by it. He confidently marches through new spaces, navigates furniture without concern, and happily introduces himself to new people and dogs. There is something genuinely charming about the way he approaches life with a quiet, confident "I've got this" attitude. Glover is wonderfully gentle and has an impressive tolerance for handling. The only thing he really seems to object to is being picked up. He much prefers keeping all four paws on the ground and making his own decisions about where he'd like to go. Fair enough, Glover. When it comes to other animals, Glover has excellent manners. He did well with large dogs, small dogs, and even cats, though we think any feline roommates should be calm, dog-savvy cats who appreciate a respectful housemate. He is not looking for a wrestling partner or a zoomie buddy. His ideal companions are the type who understand the value of a good nap and some personal space. His foster describes him as incredibly low maintenance. After a little exploring, he is perfectly happy to find a comfortable spot and relax. Apartment living would suit him just fine, but honestly, Glover is adaptable enough to thrive in many different types of homes. What seems most important to him is having a person nearby, a few toys and a peaceful place to call his own. If your idea of a perfect companion is a sweet senior with good manners, a collection of favorite toys, and a calm presence that makes every day a little easier, Glover is exactly who you've been looking for. Story
Does Bingo run a tiny neighborhood detective agency? Maybe! We cannot confirm it but we are not convinced he doesn’t. He is alert, expressive, deeply invested in everyone’s business, and somehow manages to be both hilariously spunky and genuinely very sweet all at once. Estimated to be around 3 years old and weighing 23 lbs, Bingo appears to be a Miniature Pinscher mix of some sort, though rescue rules absolutely apply and breed and age are simply our best guess. What we do know for certain is that this little guy comes fully loaded with charm, a love of snackies, and a truly elite appreciation for booty scratches. Go watch Bingo on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this tiny booty-scratch enthusiast. https://youtu.be/0LJfUzY8rSQ Bingo is being fostered in a loving home with 3 other dogs and his foster shared that he settled into the busy environment with ease. No matter the scene- new people, new dogs, lots going on around him, none of it seems to bother him one bit. He fell into the mix with the dogs like he’d been there from the start. In all the spaces and places we have seen him in he stays consistently easy. He happily wanders around exploring, soaking up attention, and making friends with everyone willing to stop and pet him. He is affectionate without being overwhelming and genuinely seems to enjoy being around people. With other dogs, Bingo showed very good social skills overall. He integrated easily into group play, greets appropriately, and mostly prefers casually hanging out and exploring over wild play, chase or roughhousing. He will join in for a little chase here and there, but overall his energy level feels more mid-to-low than high energy. He also met our house cat and was perfectly polite. He has a healthy amount of respectful caution and could fit nicely into either a multi-pet home or a home where he gets all the attention to himself. He also has some really adorable little manners. Bingo knows “sit” and “shake,” takes treats with an incredibly soft mouth, and has the kind of expressive face that makes every interaction feel personal. He is smart, attentive, and easy to engage with. With that personality comes occasional chattiness so no apartments for Bingo. His size says yes but his mouth says no shared walls. Bingo does have boundaries around handling- it’s simple and easily respected- he will side eye you over touching his feet but doesn’t mind nail trims, and he will count the seconds until you put him down if you decide to pick him up. The protest to both is small and uneventful but just know he isn’t a grab-and-go guy. Once the moment is over he relaxes immediately and goes right back to normal without lingering stress. Bingo is simply not buying that whole small-dog life stereotype- he identifies as a big dog- and he will do best with an adopter who respects that. Overall, Bingo is a really enjoyable, easy companion for someone who appreciates a dog with personality. He is affectionate, social, good with other dogs, and confident in new environments without being over the top. He also apparently enjoys water enough to lay directly in a puddle during a recent playgroup, which honestly felt very fitting for him. Bingo is cute, funny, loving, and full of charm. He is ready for a home that appreciates his personality and is happy to provide plenty of booty scratches, and treats, along the way. Ready to call BINGO!?
