Story
This little beauty is Lily. She is a 17 lb., 2 year old Minpin mix. She has a microchip, been spayed and up to date with her vaccinations. She is a shy, sweet snuggle bug. She loves nothing more than cuddling with her people. She was very nervous about walking on a leash, but she loves to go for walks now with her foster dog brother and sister. She gets along well with our dogs, but can become growly if they or anyone moves into her space. She is potty trained, but she has to go out as soon as she wakes up. She is reactive to dogs she meets on her walks, but we are working on that. She has the potential to be a wonderful companion. If you are interested in meeting Lily, please fill out a statement of interest on our website. alternativehumanesociety.com ##2021869##

Story
Meet Rosie! She is currently about 20 pounds, just over 4 months old, and we think she may be a MinPin / Terrier mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Rosie’s video here: If you’re looking for a dog that will not pay any attention to you and refuses to slather your face in kisses, it’s NOT Rosie. Rosie is all of that and so much more. 💕 This compact girl is all puppy and puppy love. She adores attention and will actively seek out permission (or not) to give you kisses and show her affection. Her long happy tail is always wagging, because Rosie’s spirit is one of pure joy. Her entire job is to spread happiness, whether it’s playing with you, with other dogs (she has several foster dog siblings of all sizes - plus two cat buddies), or entertaining herself with soft toys and stuffies. Her foster mum says that she doesn’t really chew on anything she’s not supposed to (except for that one time with a toddler’s pacifier, oops), but Rosie is accustomed to a certain level of toys and stuffies to play fetch with and enjoy. Rosie is already progressing well on potty training and leash training – she is sometimes wary of going out at nighttime, so her foster family has her on a great schedule to accommodate that. Rosie responds to her name and comes when called (except when squirrels are around), and we are so impressed with this smart girl and everything she has learned! Rosie did great during the recent hurricane – this tiny girl has no fear of big storms. Rosie is mostly a smooth and silky black with tan and white accents. We love her tan eyebrows, tan socks, and tan and white cheeks, but the absolute best part is her white chest and belly that you just can’t help rubbing when she rolls over. Rosie is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, she will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/664c4acf57cb2b2a330fe20a Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $825.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Good with dogs,
Story
🐾 Hey there, I’m Chino! 🐕 I’m a 3-year-old miniature Pinscher and Jindo mix boy with a striking black and tan coat that’s sure to turn heads. I’m a lean 8.5 kg and stand a proud 25 cm tall. I’ve been fixed, so I’m all about the love and fun. 🏪 My Past: My story is a bit rough around the edges. I was once at a place that didn’t value furry lives like mine, but I was rescued and now I’m looking for a forever home where I can thrive and be loved. 🤗 My Personality: I’m the cuddly type, always ready to nuzzle up to friends and strangers alike. I might be a little shy at first, but a tasty snack is the way to my heart. I’m great with kids and love their gentle touch. 🐕 Doggy Friends: I’m cautious when meeting new canine companions, especially if toys or treats are involved. I’m not one to start a tussle, but I’ll stand my ground if need be. 🐱 Cats: We haven’t crossed paths yet, so who knows? Maybe we’ll be besties! 🌳 Outdoor Fun: I’ve got energy to spare, so I love a good romp outside. But once I’m done, it’s all about relaxation. 🐾 On the Leash: I might tug a bit because there’s so much to see and smell! But I’m good at following my human pals. 🍖 Mealtime: I’m not possessive with my food around people, but I do tell other dogs to back off with a little growl. 🏠 Home Life: I do get a bit anxious when left alone, so I’d love a home where I can feel secure and part of the pack. I’m a champ at using the kennel and I’m well-behaved indoors. 🚩 Marking Territory: It’s just a dog thing, you know? But I’m learning to be the best gentleman I can be. If you’re looking for a loyal friend who’s full of affection and ready for a second chance at happiness, I’m your guy. Let’s start our adventure together! 🐾💖 Ready to meet me? Just reach out, and I’ll be there with wagging tail and eager eyes! 🐾🏡
