Thirteen-year-old Buster is a very energetic dog for his age. This 10-pound poodle loves walks and enjoys attention but at the same time likes to have his space. Buster is playful and does well with other dogs, but he doesn't like other dogs to play rough with him. Buster prefers being inside the house with his family; he goes outside to go on walks or to do his business in the yard. Buster doesn't really bark much unless he is startled or if other dogs are rough playing with him, but he also occasionally barks when he is being playful himself. Buster sleeps quietly through the night inside a crate. Buster has mature cataracts, so his vision is significantly impaired. He sees shadows during the day and can maneuver throughout his foster home without bumping into anything, but at night, he does bump into things. Because of his disability, Buster will require patience while he adjusts to a new home and learns to trust his new person.

Barely a #shelterselfie with another bonded pair Echelon (blonde, M) and Batgirl (fuzzy, F).They are both aged at 8yrs old, and share the energy of having nothing to prove to anyoneanymore (Hazzah to that!). They both loved making new friends and using their time in the yard to get pets from any available hands. They exude happiness and love and absolutely find safety in being with each other. Batgirl is a bit goofier and more curious, with Echelon being a bit more chill and casual, but equally determined to get some attention. They`ll do well in just about anyhome environment, and don`t need a ton of exercise to be happy. Some long walks and an occasional bout of play is about all they`ll need. Echelon has some very classic `dog` goodlooks. Batgirl looks a bit like a very skilled drawing come to life. This is an absolutely adorable sweetheart of a gal. Found as a stray in the outskirts of Bakersfield, she was luckily picked up a kind women. We took over from there. Posie walks great on a leash. Is a super ez going and loving gal. We discovered that she is prone to seizures and will require daily medication. Other than that, she is AMAZING. This is a really wonderful and ridiculously cute girl. We are guesstimating she is around 3 years old. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required.
