Pending adoption. (Transport trip set for 5/11/24 to NorCal and OR. Transport costs will be divided between all adopters in route!) Meet Jonah! He is a 1 year old, 11.4 lb poodle/bichon mix. He is more leggy like a poodle, and definitely has more of a soft bichon coat! He is neutered, vaccinated, micorchipped, and has been thourely examined by our vet whome has cleared him to find a home all his own ❤️ He is house trained, and great about going outside every couple of hours if needed. He is crate trained; and currently sleeps in his crate at night without any issues. He is leash trained, and really loves his walks. He is wonderful at the groomers. And enjoys being pampered 💕 He is wonderful on road trips, and would make a great travel buddy 😊 He is friendly with all size dogs, and cats alike. He is very quiet and doesn't bark unless he needs something, but aside from that he is very serene tempered, easy going, and calmly natured. He is wonderful with men, women, and children alike. He is a tad shy meeting new people but I assure you once he warms up to you, he is a complete lover and sweet as pie 💕💕💕💕 He loves to play, and will engage with you any chance you give him. He is not needy whatsoever and is actually quite independent and will keep himself busy if you are too busy to play with him. He loves belly rubs, and cuddles. Loves to hang out and just relax too! I think maybe he forgets he is a young dog 😂 or maybe he just has an old soulful soul 😌 None the less he is quite perfect in every way that matters!! We have a transport trip starting on 5/11/24 to NorCal and OR (we will be in OR from the 11th through the 13th) Travel costs will be divided between all of our families in route. Meet my sweet beautiful girl, Pumpkin 💜 She is a 2 year old shih tzu/poodle mix. She weighed right under 10 lbs at time of spay. Yes. she is full grown and at a healthy weight. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, had a dental exam, had both ears cleaned and plucked, had a recent nail trim, and had a thourel exam with our vet whom has cleared her to find a home all her own. She is crate trained, and will sleep peacefully in a crate all night or if needed during the day for any reason. She has impeccable house manners and is out in the home during the day; and has on occasion slept on a dog bed aside ours at night which we loved. If you desire to have her in your room, or in your bed it won't be a hard transition whatsoever from her crate. She is leash trained, and has become very fond of her walks however she can get them in. She is doing very good with housetraining and will go outside every couple hours when asked to if she needs to. She is phenomenal with other dogs and cats. She is one that really loves human companionship so if you don't have other dogs in the home that's completely fine with her, but if you do, she will be a great friend to them as well. She loves men, women, and children alike. She is the absolute sweetest little girl you will ever meet. She is calm natured and easy going. She is not high energy whatsoever. She will sit in your lap and gently kiss your hand. She is NOT a barker. Very quiet and serene tempered. Your heart will forever be thankful for allowing this special girl to fill it ❤️ She is wonderful on road trips and doesn't mind being in a carrier which makes traveling VERY easy whether by car or flight. If you are looking for that little friend to spend your life with, that has that go with the flow personality and down for whatever adventures lay ahead as long as she is with her human/family then I promise you that Pumpkin is YOUR girl!!! I'm a 71 year old retiree. I was subscribed to Adopt-a-pet in trying to locate a dog. I got a call from Happy Paws Rescue in Yuba City that they had a litter of abandoned pups and I met with and brought home Sophie at 8 weeks. She was tiny, scared, and beautiful. She is now 1 year old, and 15 lbs, not scared, and still beautiful. I did a dna test on her and she is 66% mini poodle, 14% Chihuahua, and a mix of terrier and other. She has been spayed, all her shots are up to date, she has been chipped, and she has no current or known medical conditions. She is a bundle of energy and requires a family/person who has the time and inclination to provide her with the attention she needs. I am looking for a home that already has another dog her size who can be a playmate. Unfortunately I have found that I just don't have the energy level required for her and I think it will be best for her to try to find the right home.

**Coco is a mixed-breed dog and we cannot guarantee he is allergy-friendly.**   Coco is the sweetest boy you will ever meet!   Coco is a 5-year-old love muffin who is happiest when he has a lap to cuddle on. He is an affectionate pup who makes instant friends with everyone he meets. He is quick to charm you with his endearing personality and irresistible big brown eyes. Coco is fully grown and weighs about 9lbs. Coco came to us from the Yolo County Animal Shelter after he was found as a stray in rural Woodland. He was found with another dog, Puff, who is also available for adoption with the YCSPCA. Both dogs were found severely matted, Coco even worse than Puff, and they felt better after a much-needed haircut. Coco very much wants to be someone's go-everywhere companion and is happiest when he can be by your side. He loves to cuddle at home, but also loves his daily walks around the neighborhood and would be a great companion for someone wanting a little walking buddy. He is a well-mannered pup who seems to have some basic training under his belt. Coco was found with another dog, but is in a separate foster home than her and seems to love the only dog life. He also might do well with another easy-going small dog. We have not seen Coco around cats, but he might do well with dog-savvy cats with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Coco seems like he could be a wonderful addition to a family with kids over 5 years old. Coco has been doing very well with his house training and sleeps through the night in his crate. He isn't the biggest fan of being home alone and would do best with a family that doesn't have to leave him alone often or for long. He would be a great companion for retired folks. Coco isn't an ideal fit to live in an apartment due to his separation anxiety. Due to his fur type, Coco requires routine grooming and his new family should be prepared to pay for regular grooming services or be knowledgeable enough to do it themselves. Coco is such a fabulous little boy, and we know his fur-ever family is out there. Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to his or her age.
