PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW THOROUGHLY ____________________ **I am part of a bonded pair and MUST go home with my Best Furry Friend (BFF), Shakira. I also have a mild heart condition that requires daily medication. I also sometimes have difficulty walking on tile or other slippery surfaces due to a birth defect. Story
Don't let Popi's advanced age of 16 years prevent you from adoption,  as this little fella is the most active of our 15 dogswith whom he gets along wonderfully. He's about 16 lbs and appears to be a schnoodle, a mix of schnauzer-poodle. As you can see from the "Before" photo, Popi was found in a horrible condition. With proper vet care and lots of affection,  Popi is ready to be placed in a forever home. Popi is very friendly and has a wonderful cheery attitude ready to go places. He loves meeting new folks.  This boy has been neutered,  vaccinated,  and is heartworm negative.  His adoption fee is $50. Applications to adopt are at kathisk9s.org Meet greets are scheduled only for approved applicants

These pups are in Ocala, Florida too!

Story
Hi there! I'm Marshmallow. I am a Bichon Frise dog that came in with four other pups. We were owned by a backyard breeder that had over 50 dogs. We were all very filthy with matted fur and pretty thin. We are a bit nervous at first but warm up quickly. Due to our background we will likely need a little bit of extra love and patience in our new homes. I am a little bit more reserved than my friends, but come around quickly. I was overwhelmed for my grooming appointment due to fear and would need a little bit more patience. Once I know I can trust you, I will absolutely melt into your hands. I do well with other dogs my size and would likely benefit from having another friendly dog in the home with me!

I am a little bit more independent and energetic than my friends. I am probably the most confident one of the group. I walk pretty nicely on a leash and ride well in a car. I was very well behaved for my grooming appointment too! I do pretty well with other dogs my size, though I can be a little bit pusy with them. At first meeting, I mean seem a tad standoffish, but I am easily won over and become very affectionate!

Story
Hi, my name is Cloud. I am a Bichon Frise dog that came in with four other pups. We were owned by a backyard breeder that had over 50 dogs. We were all very filthy with matted fur and pretty thin. We were a bit nervous at first but warmed up quickly. Due to our background we will likely need a little bit of extra love and patience in our new homes. I am a calm girl who likes order. I am very sweet and I love to be with my person. I am a companion dog to a T. I don't do well with cats, I will bark and chase them. I do listen and will stop if asked, but my drive for cats is pretty strong right now. But I am great with other dogs. I do like order and can get nervous when dogs are having "fun". I was probably the Grand Poobah and needed to keep the order in the pack. I am crate, potty and pad trained. I would be great for an older couple or single adult. If you are looking for a calm, mature companion dog pick me!
