Jules is a loving, cuddle-seeking doodle who has been a wonderful companion. Since our recent move and as she’s gotten a bit older, she’s developed some anxiety and seems overwhelmed by the busy energy in our home (kids, another dog, and cats). Because of that, I’m looking for a quieter environment where she can truly relax and thrive. She would do best in a home with no children and no other pets, where she can be the center of attention. What she brings: -Super sweet, affectionate, and loyal -Crate trained and leash trained -Completed a two-week professional training program -Low-shedding hypoallergenic doodle coat; will need regular grooming and haircuts -Loves snuggling up and being near her people She’s a wonderful dog who just needs the right environment to feel safe and confident again. If you’re looking for a calm, devoted companion and have a quieter home, she might be the perfect match.

Story
Sunny is a 12 year old male Miniature Poodle weighing 10 pounds. He was surrendered by his owner due to her poor health. This beautiful little boy was obviously loved all his life. He is quite the cuddle bug, and loves to come with you wherever you go. Although his eyesight is impaired, he can still hear extremely well, yipping from the bedroom when he’s slept in but hears me putting food in the dog dishes! He is house trained and used to being let out to potty. He likes his walks, just not too far or too fast. He is friendly with the other dogs in the house, but prefers being next to you wherever you are. Sunny is currently being fostered in North Carolina and can travel to his forever home. Please read the entire bio for this rescue, it will provide all the information that one needs to decide if they would like to apply to adopt from SCMR.Adoption fee: $125.00   Hi there! This is Crouton, a poodle mix, he is about 13 years old and weighs about 13 pounds, he showed up at animal control as a stray, unfortunately, his microchip did not lead to his family, he was very thin and not well.   He is getting to know his foster family but he follows his foster mom around the house and sitting next to her on the couch. He is deaf, but very alert, and watches everything going on around him.  He is not house trained, he needs to wear a belly band, but will do great on walks.  His meds causes him to need to urinate a lot, so it works best to have the use of the belly bands.  He sleeps thru the night, getting all the rest he needs.   He has been diagnosed with IBS, so that means he needs to be on a special diet.  He is on temporary meds until the IBS can be brought under control, it can be controlled with a good diet.   He does have a couple of growths that need to be removed, but the doctor does not think they are anything to worry about, so when that is done and he has gained some weight, he will be ready for adoption.   He does get along with the dogs in the foster home, but he will try to eat food that is not his, so it will be important to keep him separated at meal time.  Crouton is waiting Gainesville, FL for his forever family to take him home Out-of-state adoptions are possible; however, the approved adoptive home is responsible for making the necessary arrangements to pick up their new little one.  To be considered to adopt me, please fill out an APPLICATION.  NOTE: SCMR does not adopt to homes with children under the age of 10 years or homes with Electric Fences.
