Jingle came into our program as a breeder release, a young adult with a long life ahead of her. When Jingle arrived in her foster home, she was quite reserved. She was confused, she wasn't sure if this was a good thing or not. She was very timid & scared. Boy, has she really changed, she has flourished & bloomed! Once so scared, she willingly goes to her foster mom & seeks companionship & cuddles from her. She will do best in a calm, low activity home. A home that is willing to patiently allow her to adjust & get used to her forever environment. Going into a new home will be another change for Jingle, but she is very brave & we know that she will successfully make the transition if given a chance. She will do best learning from other 4-legged siblings, we would like to see her find a home with some friends of similar size & energy level. She follows her foster siblings around, she likes to play with them very gently, no rough housing. In her foster home, she has proven to be 100% house trained. We are so proud of her. With that said, her new family must understand she could have a few accidents until she gets her new routine down. Please be prepared to give her ample opportunity for success, praise her when she does it right, & be patient with her. We have given Jingle space to decompress & get used to being a pet. We have not pushed the issue of leash training. We do not know if that is something she would enjoy in the future or not. Therefore, for her safety (& for her to be able to do her potty business immediately upon adoption), a secure physical fence yard is required. An aluminum or slat type of fencing will need a gap filler around the bottom half so she can't get through, something like galvanized wire mesh or another sturdy material. She isn't an outdoor adventure dog; she doesn't need a big yard. But she does need a very secure area to do her potty business. Never EVER should she be left in the yard alone. Jingle is the type of dog that becomes your BFF. Your movie-watching, couch lounging, hanging out, reliable friend. We look forward to matching Jingle with her forever family soon!

Shia is a beautiful 5-year-old Maltipoo who is finally getting the chance to discover what life as a beloved pet should be. Before coming to All About Paws, Shia lived in a breeding environment and even had her last litter while in rescue care. Now that her puppies are grown, it’s finally her turn to be spoiled, loved, and learn how to simply be a dog. Shia is a very loving little girl who adores her humans and happily hands out plenty of sweet kisses. She loves cuddling up on laps and sleeping in bed close to her person. While she can have a playful, high-energy side, she also enjoys relaxing and lounging with her family after she gets her wiggles out. She is still learning many things about the world around her. Shia does okay walking on a leash, but she continues to build confidence with practice and patience. Car rides are especially scary for her right now. Her foster mom has been gently working with her to help her feel more comfortable, but this will be something her future family will need to continue helping her with over time. Shia is currently potty pad trained, and her foster mom is working on outdoor potty training — although Shia can be a little stubborn about changing her routine. Consistency and encouragement will go a long way as she continues adjusting to her new life. Her ideal home would include another friendly dog to help guide her, play with her, and give her companionship. Because she loves to run and jump, a securely fenced yard would be perfect for her to safely burn off energy and enjoy herself. Shia is looking for a patient, loving family that will continue helping her grow in confidence while giving her the affection she’s missed for so many years. In return, she’ll provide endless cuddles, kisses, and loyal companionship. Hudson is an approximately 11 month old Goldendoodle mix (our best guess is Golden Retriever and Poodle, but we cannot guarantee breed since we do not know his parents). One thing we can guarantee is that this boy is full of fun, energy, and happiness. If fetch were a profession, Hudson would already be employee of the month. Throw the toy once and he is ready for round two immediately. The best part? He happily brings it right back and is always ready to keep the game going. He is playful, goofy, and absolutely loves being part of the action. Hudson is crate trained, great with other dogs, and does well with kids. Because he is still young, energetic, and on the larger side, we would recommend caution around very small children since his happy wiggles and excitement could accidentally knock them over. He is truly as sweet as can be and loves greeting everyone he meets with his whole-body wiggle. Hudson would thrive with an active family that enjoys walks, playtime, and having a fun-loving companion by their side. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions.
