Story
Khaleesi is a nearly 10 year-old Bichapoo who has been a beloved family .She is affectionate, loyal, and full of personality, with a spunky spirit and lots to say.she can definitely be vocal and alert you to everything happening around her. She would enjoys frequent outdoor time. She is used to being part of a home environment and loves companionship. She has recently developed a neck mass that may need veterinary evaluation, and she may have some developing medical needs. Making the decision to seek placement for her has been incredibly painful. Over the past several years, I have developed significant chronic health issues that have greatly affected my physical stamina and daily functioning. As her sole caregiver, I am no longer physically, emotionally, or financially able to provide the level of care and veterinary support she may need going forward. My greatest hope is to find her a safe, loving home where she can receive the time, attention, and medical care she deserves.

Story
Taco and Dixie are a delightful bonded pair of senior dogs! Taco is a 9 year-old Aussiedoodle and Dixie is an 8 year-old Lab mix. These two bring each other so much comfort. Where Dixie goes, Taco won`t be far behind! They were surrendered to CHA when their owner could no longer care for them. Dixie is an absolute lap dog. She doesn`t care how big she is, she will be sitting in your lap. All she wants is attention and cuddles. Taco is a more mellow guy, but he`ll never say no to belly rubs. This charming pair can`t wait to find a home where they can laze around together. Come meet Taco and Dixie today!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Dexter If you are looking for a dog with a huge personality, endless entertainment value, and a whole lot of love to give, Dexter may just be your perfect match! Dexter is a playful, energetic little guy who absolutely loves life. Whether he is racing around the backyard doing zoomies, playing with his dog friends, or proudly sneaking a sock out of the laundry basket, he keeps everyone around him laughing. He is smart, curious, and full of quirky charm — including the adorable head tilt he gives when you talk to him like he understands every word. While Dexter has plenty of energy and would thrive in an active home, he also has a sweet snuggly side. At the end of the day, he is happiest curled up with his people, especially if he can burrow under the covers for bedtime cuddles. Dexter would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard or an adopter committed to giving him plenty of exercise through walks, runs, and playtime. He absolutely loves other playful dogs and really enjoys having canine companions to romp around with. He also enjoys people of all ages and has done well with older children. Because he is still learning some manners and can get excited, a home with very young children may need a little extra supervision and continued training. He does well when kept on a schedule and is continuing to learn appropriate toys versus “treasures” he finds around the house. Dexter is eager to please, very smart, and does wonderfully for grooming. With continued structure and basic training, he is going to make an incredible companion. Dexter is looking for a family that will embrace his fun-loving spirit, keep him active, and include him as part of the family. In return, he promises plenty of laughs, endless affection, and a best friend who will keep life exciting. Dexter’s adoption donation is $575. He is fostered in Central Ohio and is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and current on heartworm and flea prevention.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.PLEASE NOTE:   If you are viewing this biography on a website other than the Ohio Fuzzy Pawz website like Petfinder, Adopt-a-Pet, or another search engine (the OFP website is www.ohiofuzzypawz.com), not all information transfers to partner websites in some instances.  If you go to the  individual webpage of our dogs , you will be able to get more information each dog. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable so, in many cases, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix.  We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Our Adoption Process The adoption process has several steps involved. Please review prior to submitting an application. Our adoption process is detailed here:  http://www.ohiofuzzypawz.com/info/adoption Our volunteers work very diligently to process each application and we try to ensure that we are making the best match possible for each dog.  We do not schedule meetings with dogs until an application has been approved.  It can take up to a few weeks to process an application or as little time as a few days, from the time you submit an application, please be prepared to adopt as we cannot hold dogs. Special Requirements Some dogs may have special requirements (for example, medications, a fence) -- if you apply for a dog, please be sure to read over the biography completely to see if there are any special needs and if you're home would be suitable.  If we indicate on the dog's biography that a fence is required, this means your home must have a physical fence.  Other dogs may require a "strong vet reference" which indicates that we are looking for a home that has a documented history of veterinary care with previous pets.  The first step in our process is to submit an online adoption application at www.ohiofuzzypawz.com/forms.  The application MUST include the personal references and veterinary, grooming, and landlord references (if applicable) and their respective contact information.  If you do not include the references and the contact information, your application will be delayed as it CANNOT be processed.  Once the references have been successfully completed, a home visit is then scheduled when a rescue representative can meet all members of the family or residents of the home.  No application is approved prior to the home visit being done.   At that point, the Directors will discuss any and all applications on a foster dog and make a selection--in many cases, there are multiple applications for each dog, so please be understanding that our only priority is the successful placement of each of our foster dogs. Out of State Adoptions We do adopt out of state to outstanding applicants, however, our process requires a home visit, so out of state adoptions can take longer.  We do not ship our dogs, adopters should be prepared to pick up the dog in Central Ohio.  July 19, 2026, 4:25 pm

Story
Toffee (full name Toffee Nathaniel) is a Chi-Poo male and amazing boy! He loves to jump, spin, and cuddle. I’m currently experiencing health issues that make it difficult to give toffee the life he deserves. I would love to find a loving home that would appreciate him that is open to chances of me still being able to visit. I have no problem with funding things for toffee as needed as well. He is a huge people person and attention lover, loves to nap but has loads of energy for time to play. He’s a super sweet gentle boy with lots of love to give!
