Story
Meet Daisie! She is a 1 and a half year old chocolate poodle, weighing 18 pounds. She is sweet and still a puppy. She is house trained and crate trained, but may not need the crate. She has a bit too much of an interest in cats, so no cats please. She does okay with dogs; although, she may not speak dog. The foster jokes she speaks human instead of dog.  Aside from her jumping up and being a bit mouthy, she does good with children.  She is smart and with some training will be the best girl. She has the poodle hair so is perfect for people that are allergic, but will require grooming quite often. Look deep in those eyes and you can’t resist.  Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start June 8, 2026, 9:40 am

Story
Mabel (6 years old) is the sweetest girl. She is a mini bernedoodle with a fluffy coat when she grows it out. She loves to cuddle and being around her people all day long. She does well in a crate when needed, car rides, being around other dogs, being around kids and is house trained. I think she would do best being either the only dog or one of two dogs in a household. I have a teenage daughter and a newborn baby and a house full of dogs that I know I am not able to give the love and attention to that they deserve. I am very spread thin with my new baby and work and the declining health of my father. My heart breaks at the thought of them not being in my home anymore, but I know it is the best thing for them.

Story
Louie Poochon is a very sweet dog but is high energy and does not like to be excluded from “the pack” if the grandkids come over. I want to rehome her to due to a recent family loss - I don’t have the heart currently to stay in the leadership role and continue to train her. She needs a master who has the time and focus to continue their care. Louie needs some training - she is strong willed and will listen with treats but without she wants to do her own thing. Her ideal home to me would be in a home without children where she can be the focus of attention. If children are around, she tends to bark and yelp and does not listen to instruction.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Welcome Macy to DASH! Macy came to DASH from a rural shelter in southern Ohio and is currently in our DASH Prison Program where she is working on learning her basic commands, crate training, socialization skills. This girl is so sweet and friendly, loves meeting new people and dogs. She is housebroken in the prison setting and loves to run and play. She hasn't mastered all of her commands, so her new family will need to continue to help her with those. She walks well on a leash. Her one quirk is that she has decided that getting into the trash is a favorite past time, and while her handler is working with her to learn trash is not something to play in, her new family will need to be aware of this and make sure that she cannot have access to trash of any kind. She has not been kid or cat tested, so proper introductions would be needed for both. She is just a goofy, loveable girl who is ready to find her perfect person or family. Story
Wilson is a sweet ~15 lbs Shih Tzu mix looking for his forever home! This handsome little guy has a gentle personality and a heart full of love—he just needs a little time to feel comfortable.Wilson can be a bit shy at first, especially around men, but once he warms up, he’s incredibly affectionate and loyal. He does great with women and children, and he’s never shown any aggression. He also gets along with other dogs his size, though he appreciates a slow introduction to make new friends. He’s making great progress with potty training and is doing very well overall, with only the occasional accident. Wilson is trustworthy when left out—he doesn’t chew on things he shouldn’t and handles alone time like a champ. He does shed a little, so he’s not completely hypoallergenic, but his loving personality more than makes up for it!One of Wilson’s favorite things? Riding along in a bike basket and taking in the world around him—he’s the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a little adventure! If you’re looking for a gentle, loving pup who just needs a bit of patience and a lot of love, Wilson could be your perfect match. Wilson is 1 year old and is ready for his forever family. Wilson adores children!Apply to meet Wilson at ricopetrecovery.org. The adoption fee for Wilson is $250
