Choc Choc was adopted in 2021. He came from a home where he was not allowed outside and used puppy pads regularly. He requires regular grooming. He is playful and needs someone with the time to give him the love and attention he so desperately needs. I am not able to do that for him any longer. I recently lost my son and will be relocating soon. Please help him! He is so sweet but is definitely a quirky dog!

Story
Tina is a shy little girl that was raised in a breeding program, but she did not get pregnant. She is now part of Ready 2 Rescue, so that she can find a forever home. She is 2 years old and only weighs about 5 lbs. She is a toy poodle, and is very sweet, but still very shy. We are working with her, and she gets very excited to see us, but runs when you reach to pet her or pick her up. If you go get her and pick her up slowly, she does well and will stay in your arms. She is not accustomed to the affection, but we are hopeful with time, patience, and love she will grow to love it. If you are interested in "Tiny Tina", go to ready2rescue@yahoo.com and let us know. We will send you an application via email. Once approved, we can schedule a day and time you can come meet her. Rebel is a sweet guy that was previously used in breeding. He's 5 yrs old and weighs 7 lbs.. He's a miniature poodle, and a real snuggle bug, once he gets to know you. He's friendly and will come up to strangers, but won't let you pet or pick him up until he gets to know you. He's not house trained yet, as he has lived his life until now in a dog run. He had a leg wound when we took him into rescue, but it has healed since then, but the hair still needs to grow back. He's going to be a great addition to any family, and will win your heart if you meet him! Monroe is soooo sweet Potty trained ✅ Loves other dogs ✅ Does well on leash ✅ Crate trained ✅ All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. Hey everyone, you have to meet Billie — a gorgeous, fun-loving girl who is now looking for her forever home. 💕 Billie was born November 10, 2024 and currently weighs about 32 pounds. Her DNA shows she’s a mix of Poodle, Boston Terrier, and King Charles Spaniel, with a little of other breeds sprinkled in. She’s the perfect size for playing, cuddling, and everyday adventures. Billie is great with older children, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and absolutely loves to play. She enjoys going for walks and has a happy, playful personality that makes her a joy to be around. She’s about 50% house trained and does much better when she has access to a contained yard, where she can go out more frequently and continue learning her routine. Billie’s previous family had her since birth but, unfortunately, could no longer keep her. She’s lost the only home she’s ever known and is now hoping someone special will step in and give her the love, stability, and security she deserves. Regarding heartworm status: Billie tested positive initially, but that result may have been a false positive. She was retested at a different veterinary clinic, with proper timing, and that test came back negative. She was off heartworm prevention for about five months, so out of caution she will need to be retested in six months. If she were to test positive at that time, treatment can be discussed. Tofu is a miniature poodle mix with a fun, energetic personality and a whole lot of love to give. We have not seen any shedding from her so far. She is a very active little girl who absolutely loves toys and thrives when she has other dogs to play with. Because of this, Tofu is looking for a home with another playful dog who can match her energy and keep her engaged. She is crate trained, rides great in the car, and is decent on a leash. Tofu is still working on potty training and currently uses puppy pads, so her future home should be patient and consistent as she continues learning.
