Story
Alfie is a handsome 3-year-old Great Dane/Poodle mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and in excellent health. He's looking for an active family who can give him plenty of exercise and adventure. Alfie is a gentle giant who absolutely adores people. He has been raised in a home with four children and is incredibly loving, patient, and affectionate with kids of all ages. He enjoys being close to his family, lounging indoors, and soaking up attention from his favorite humans. Alfie is crate trained, leash trained and understands basic household routines. He knows basic commands such as sit and down, and he is eager to please. He is intelligent, affectionate, and thrives when he receives consistent structure and attention. Whether he's spending time with his family or showing off his good manners, Alfie is happiest when he is included in everyday life. One of Alfie's favorite activities is going for car rides. He happily loads up and enjoys being part of the adventure, whether it's a quick trip around town or a longer outing. He also does exceptionally well when boarded and adjusts comfortably to boarding environments, making him an easy companion for families who travel or occasionally need pet care services. Alfie currently lives with another large female dog and has been successful in that environment. However, he can be selective about other animals and would benefit from slow, proper introductions to any new pets. Because every dog relationship is different, we believe Alfie would thrive either as an only pet receiving all of the attention or in a home with an experienced owner who is willing to carefully manage introductions and ensure a good fit. Alfie enjoys having space to stretch his long legs, explore, and spend time outdoors, so a securely fenced yard would be ideal for him. While he enjoys outdoor time, he is happiest when he is with his family and included in daily life. Alfie has so much love to give and deserves a home that understands his needs and can provide the attention, stability, and companionship he craves. In return, he will reward his family with endless loyalty, affection, and plenty of goofy Great Dane charm. His adoption fee is $125. He is currently in a foster home, so if you are interested in making Alfie part of your family, please submit an adoption application located here: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. September 14, 2026, 6:49 pm

Story
Reed is an adorable 8-month-old Miniature Poodle who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life as a beloved pet can be. Reed came to us as a breeder release, so much of the outside world is still brand new to him. New places, new sounds, walking on a leash, living in a home... he has a whole new world to explore! He is looking for a patient, loving family who will give him the time and encouragement he needs to build confidence at his own pace. Reed is great with other dogs and people, although he can be a little shy when first meeting someone. Once he realizes he's safe, his sweet personality begins to peek through. Having another friendly, confident dog in the home could be a wonderful example for him as he learns the ropes. At only 8 months old, Reed has so much ahead of him. He just needs someone willing to show him that being a pet means soft beds, yummy treats, adventures, belly rubs, and a family who loves you forever. If you have a little patience and a lot of love, Reed is ready to start his happily-ever-after with you. Apply to adopt Reed: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/13102/generic ##2820876##

Story
Comet the mini aussiedoodle came to us as a breeder release, which means life as a family pet is all brand new to him. He is learning about the world outside of a kennel setting and will need a patient, understanding home that is willing to give him time to adjust and build confidence at his own pace. He will do best with routine, gentle guidance, and positive reinforcement. While initially shy or unsure in new situations, his personality continues to shine more each day. Many breeder-release dogs thrive in homes with another friendly, confident dog to help show them the ropes. He is crate trained, does well with other dogs, but is not confident with leash skills. He is not a “plug-and-play” dog and will need time to decompress, but with consistency and love, he will become incredibly loyal and affectionate. Adopters should understand that adjustment can take several weeks or longer, and moments of insecurity or hesitation are normal during this transition. Comet is a sweet boy who loves to play and receive love. *** Comet has a birth defect on one of his eyes which makes it look cloudy.  It does not bother him and does not require any specialized care. His tear ducts work perfectly and the vet does not recommend removing his eye. Adoption Application:https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/13102/generic ##2604086##

Story
Meet Bam!   Bam is a 4-year-old Toy Poodle with a personality that is just as adorable as his looks. This little guy has a signature happy dance that he breaks out when he's excited, and it's guaranteed to make you smile every single time. Bam gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, cats, and children. He enjoys car rides, walks nicely on a leash, and is always happy to be included in whatever adventure the day may bring. However, he does not mind being the only dog in the house. While Bam is incredibly sweet, he isn't the type to immediately jump into a stranger's lap. He prefers to take a little time to observe new people and decide when he's ready to make friends. Once you've earned his trust, you'll discover a loyal, affectionate companion who loves being close to his people. Bam is looking for a family that understands that not every dog falls in love at first sight. Give him the patience and respect he deserves, and he'll reward you with endless love, companionship, and plenty of his adorable happy dances.   Adoption Application: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/13108/generic ##2655942##

I'm Lucy, a petite 2-year-old blond Poodle weighing just 11 pounds — the perfect lap-sized companion! 🐩 I'm ready to find my forever home and start this exciting new chapter with you. With my small stature and sweet demeanor, I'm ideal for apartment living or cozy homes where I can be your devoted little shadow. Lucy was surrendered to the shelter as her owner had a stroke and was not able to care for her any longer.

TOOTIE FRUITIES PUPPIES Best-Fit Homes -Potential adopters MUST be available for “Puppy Pick-Up” on September 26 in the Houston area. -Puppies are a time commitment. Please be sure you have a schedule that is conducive to guidance, socialization, and training for these precious doodles. -Future neutering/spaying will be part of the contract for each of the puppies at an appropriate age. DDR covers a pre-set amount toward the surgery. -We do not have a way to predict if they will be non-shedding as this cannot be determined from puppy coats. -We do not know how big they will be as we have never seen the dad; however, Mom is a dalmadoodle about 30 lbs. Currently, the puppies range from 4-5 lbs. Personalities Persimmon (M): The floof-meister, this little chunk is a heart-melter who can do no wrong. Clementine (F): Tiny and tough, this girl is watching the pack and looking for her next playmate. Blueberry (M): He’s the crowd favorite. He loves to play and all of his siblings love to play with him. Raspberry (F): She’s the runt of the bunch. She’s “just a baby” and is happy to be carried around. Cherry (F): She’s smart, curious, and brave. She was the first to venture out of the whelping box and is determined to eventually scale the walls of her current pen. Pickles (M): This distinctive-looking doodle is always ready for his next nap. He’s Captain Snoozefest. Grape (M): He has his Professional Snuggler designation. He and Pickles are nap-buddies. Huckleberry (M): He's a talker and loves to bug his favorite brother. Apple (F): She’s a bit more reserved and independent. She’s content to do her own thing. Do You Need a Puppy Love of Your Own? Each puppy’s adoption fee is $850. They are current on all age-appropriate vaccinations. Neutering/spaying at an appropriate age will be part of the adoption contract. DDR pays a pre-set amount toward the surgery. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like the Tootie Fruities puppies a second chance.
