Story
Meet Oliver Reese – 12 Pounds of Big Feelings and Even Bigger Potential Oliver Reese is a 1.5-year-old Maltipoo mix with a pillowy-soft coat, soulful eyes, and a personality that's as complex as it is endearing. Weighing just 12 lbs, Oliver may be small, but he carries a whole world of emotions in his little frame. Surrendered by an owner who could no longer provide the care he needed, Oliver is now on a journey of healing and learning to trust again. He’s potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, and knows how to keep a tidy routine. But when it comes to affection and handling—he likes to call the shots. Oliver can be fearful of new people and is still learning that hands can be gentle. He prefers slow introductions, space, and... cheese. Bring snacks, and you might just earn the honor of a few cautious pets—or even the privilege of picking him up. He’d do best in an adult-only home where life is calm and predictable, and where his people understand that trust takes time. Once you're in his circle, though, Oliver transforms into a loyal, fun, and quirky companion who’s happy to share adventures—or more likely, share the couch. Oliver gets along with dogs similar in size and demeanor but would also be perfectly content as your one-and-only lap guardian. Looking for a sensitive soul with personality and potential? Oliver Reese might just be your perfect little shadow. Adoption fee is: $400 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. Story
Aggressive with food with people Adoption fee is: $450 Hello, my name is Cassius, and I’d love to tell you a little about myself and the kind of life I dream about. I am a 3-year-old mini poodle, weighing 14.6 pounds, and I came into rescue after suffering a broken jaw. It was a tough experience, but with care, patience, and healing, I’ve shown just how resilient and brave I can be. Even with everything I’ve been through, I’ve held onto my gentle spirit and my desire to connect with people. I’m a naturally sweet, affectionate, and curious boy who loves being around humans. I get excited easily — the world is just so interesting to me — and I especially enjoy being active. I have lots of energy, and I truly shine when I’m out running, walking, or exploring. If you’re someone who enjoys staying busy or having a partner for outdoor adventures, I think we’d be a wonderful match. When I’m feeling particularly happy or enthusiastic, I sometimes use my mouth to express myself. It’s my way of showing excitement, and I’m learning every day how to manage that energy in softer, gentler ways. I just need someone willing to understand me and guide me as I continue to grow. One important thing to know about me is that I value my mealtime routine. Because food makes me feel safe and focused, I prefer not to be touched while I’m eating. Giving me that small boundary helps me stay relaxed and confident. After I’ve had the chance to play and burn off my energy, I settle beautifully into my calmer side. I become incredibly snuggly, sweet, and affectionate, happy to curl up next to my favorite humans and enjoy quiet moments. I love being close to people once I’ve gotten my wiggles out — it’s one of my favorite parts of the day. What I’m hoping for is a home with someone patient, understanding, and ready to offer both structure and love. I’m eager to continue learning, bonding, and building trust with the person who chooses me. With the right match, I know I can be a loyal, joyful, and deeply loving companion. If you’re looking for an active, bright-spirited little dog who’s ready for a fresh start and a lifetime of devotion, I would be truly grateful for the chance to meet you. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable.
